Hi, thank you for your contribution. I teach children from 9 to 13 years before the pandemic I used to teach around 14 students but now I only have two online learners. I surprisingly found that my 9-year learner is really fantastic, he has learned how to use the platforms and he is really independent also his mother has been amazingly supportive so I guess that if we just give them the chance to get into the knowledge they can do it easily. My name is Marlet and I´m an English and French teacher in Puebla Mexico.
Thank you from Trinidad 🇹🇹 Mr Hubert Puchta. Very insightful and helpful tips to help us parents through these challenging times. Appreciate much. God bless you and keep safe
I like the pebble in the jar hahahha....and NICE tip about LOOKING AT THE LENS!!! hehhehehe.. good point. I am laughing so much at the academic explanation of what an unboxing video is.. This is a good sharing. One of the better ones I've seen.
I could see new pictures in Student´s book. I actually work with Superminds teaching YLE learners. I´m sure my students will improve with the tips given. I can´t wait for the new Superminds books.
I'm new to your channel. Could You as an expert please maybe make a video like this on how to remotely help kids with autism in overcoming reading comprehension problems ? I have a student who tends to focus on misleading details in both reading and listening comprehension tasks which require synthesis of information either from entire pharagraph or even entire text or entire listening. ( He definitely doesn't suffer from problems with lack of extensive vocabulary, his problem is fixation on details the second he encounters a word he knows in the text and the minute he picks up from the audio a word he knows). I have some idea about how to do it during face to face interaction but I would really welcome sume suggestions regarding how to adress this issue remotely. Especially given that this student doesn't feel the need to maintain the eye contact unless a completely new piece of purely visual information is being presented to him for the very first time. Although while reading and listening to something he can process information really fast and focus very well on material presented to him in this form. And generally I would welcome all kinds of videos on teaching kids with autism and overcoming problems with teaching phonetics to adults who are complete beginners. Maybe some ideas form methods which work for kids and which could work in case of teaching teaching phonetics to adults who are complete beginners as well?
Mr Puchta Such a pleassure to hear and learn from you! Thank you. I admire you a lot!
