Yes you can! The pattern for the sides and the top is fixed so you can increase as you want. However, for the back, I recommend watching the back side to get an idea of how to increase. Another way to increase is to change your yarn and crochet hook. That would be a using a yarn that weight 6-7 and using a bigger crochet hook like 8 or 10.
