I have a lot of 2024 Wolverine fleer cards . I opened 4 hobby boxes and 10 blasters. I have a decent amount of yellows, 1 autograph Emma frost red foil, ultra blasts, green foils, tons of base cards, and others. I’m looking to sell them. Where do you think is the best to sell ? Should I sell them all separately or as a bundle , there are yellow Wolverine, hulk, ultra abilities deadpool. Just would like some insight to get the best money out of the value of the cards. Thank you
Really liked the art on the Supergirl and Vampire Batgirl cards, though I have absolutely no idea what any of the numbers mean (if you've explained in a previous video I haven't seen, but I figure lower numbers are better). Seems like a very small set though
These Hro cards have a QR code on the back that you can scan with the Hro DC app to redeem a matching digital twin. The digital version is an NFT that can be traded or sold in their app. The lower number cards are worth more points, and there is a leaderboard to compete on where you can be rewarded with more digital cards. There is also essentially a collection score that earns daily Hro points that can be spent on other digital cards. The art on this one is actually the first time original art has been created for the entire set. Past sets have been images pulled from comics and covers.
All these Marvel and DC cards you open are ridiculously over priced like 3 times what a reasonable price would be, do any of them ever go up in value or only down?
Thank for checking out my video and taking the time to comment! They are indeed expensive, and in my opinion prohibitively so for people that might be interested in the hobby. Very different than when I was young and could buy loose packs for a couple bucks at nearly any retail store. Short term things almost always head downwards. On longer time scales they might do better. Things from 6+ years ago have generally done well, but I don't know how this recent stuff will perform. From a financial efficiency perspective, opening on release day for retail is usually the worst and most expensive way to go about it. It's a massive premium for the entertainment value of opening the new stuff. There are occasional exceptions like the Dan dos Santos 2022/2023 Marvel Masterpieces and Marvel Platinum. I'll be keeping a close eye on DC Masterpieces. Purchasing singles is most often the winning strategy for collectible cards. For people looking to eke out financial profit, I think you have to be extremely selective and keep things sealed. Or have access to distributor pricing.
@@Alurvful It's one of the brands included in Upper Deck's DC announcement: www.upperdeckblog.com/2024/06/upper-deck-and-warner-bros-discovery-global-consumer-products-expand-their-trading-card-memorabilia-and-gaming-partnership-to-include-dc-comic-book-characters/ No details yet, but I am looking forward to it! I've always wanted a DC set on par with Marvel Masterpieces. DC Master Series was the closest thing I know of, but not quite the same prestige as Masterpieces.
@@icollectthings Amazing!!! I completely agree. I hope they do a DC Platinum release as well - I like to grade my cards and the thick Masterpieces cards are so tough to gem.
