- CRISPY KANGKONG or Kangkong Chips, is a crispy deep-fried Pinoy appetizer made with water kangkong leaves (water spinach) coated with an egg, flour, and cornstarch batter. Usually eaten by dipping it in vinaigrette or a mayonnaise dipping sauce... watch the video to know the secret of making a crispier Crispy Kangkong.
Ingredients:
Kangkong leaves
for the batter:
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp fine salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp chicken breading mix
