Thank you for your feed back! It is greatly appreciated. Be sure to leave a like and subscribe for more content. I honestly think it transforms the car and is a must do. I wish we could find a new exhaust muffler like the amg to get the more aggressive sound but prices are insane haha. Thank you again for your support and hope to see you on the next one. - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out! Crazy the difference eh! There is a couple other W177 hatches around and find they look out of place with out the spoiler and diffuser now. 😅 Really appreciate your support to the channel 🙏🍻 - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out, yea you are right. Actually for this Install the heat shield did require a slight bending for the amg exhaust tips to fit. The factory exhaust/muffler tips bend downward but most still comes out the exhaust tips. Now it looks proper in colder Temps and exhaust tips are actually functional. It would be a very easy task for them to add a customer muffuler if you are looking for a change in sound and connect up to the new tips. Let me know if you do go with a new muffler. Been wanting to do that also but unsure on which one to get to achieve the proper sound. Please consider subscribing and leaving a like if you have not done so already. Your support is greatly appreciated. - Full Throttle
I recently fitted the same diffuser on my merc but there is no edging strip for it to tidy it up, but it looks like something clips on to it, Have you found anything that clips on to it or is it made for an under tray to clip on to ?
Thank you for the feed back! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the episode and the new look. Really does make the car look proper in my opinion. - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out, you have a few options when it comes to purchasing the conversion kit. You can purchase direct from your local MB dealership, there are some online aftermarket companies that also sell them or you can order on Ali express. - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out! It is possible it may still fit. I have not seen one of these with a tow bar so I'm not sure. The diffuser does go lower then the factory one but with modification I would think you could make it work. Please consider subscribing and leaving a like if you enjoyed the episode. Keep me updated also if you do attempt. - Full Throttle
Hi Nice video, does it fit with a tow bar? Also when we demounted the diffuser only, it seemed as if the exhaust pipes were too long to fit, how did you get the diffuser on again after mounting ?
With some modification you may be able to fit with a tow bar equiped. As seen in the episode I had the whole bumper removed, removed the stock diffuser, installed the new diffuser kit and then installed the entire bumper as one unit back onto the vehicle. The only issue I had when reinstalling was the heat shield for the exhaust was sticking out to far. I had to bend the headshield up and back to creat more clearance. Other then that everything installed as the original with no fitment issues. Are you installing on a sedan or hatchback? It's possible the sedan may have longer tail pipes. Worse case if so you could trim them to create the required room. I hope this helps.. and please consider leaving a thumbs up and subscribing. If you have any further questions please reach out. - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out! I hope you enjoyed the episode. If so please consider leaving a thumbs up and subscribing if you have not done so already. I am hoping to get a new hood preferably one with the "AMG Bumps" down the center, and if we can find a good price on the front bumper also. If not may just change to the Panamara grill instead as this has the "amg sport" bumper already equipped. Also on the hunt for an aftermarket catback or amg exhaust system and new wheels instore hopefully this summer. Its a daily so we cant go to crazy but certainly have a vision for it. Thank you again for your support and hope to see you on the next episode! - Full Throttle
Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you may have the standard optioned bumpers and not the AMG style package in your car. If this is the case, sadly you would need to replace the entire bumper as the diffuser would not work. If you have any other questions be sure to let me know! Thank you for your support and be sure to subscribe and leave a like if you have not done so already. - Full Throttle
I have a Mercedes W177 A180D, with the standard bumper which means I’ll need an a45 rear bumper swap. Are all clips the same size? I also understand that the a45 rear bumper would fit my Mercedes a180d w177 as all Mercedes a class 2018+ are the same shape?
Thank you for reaching out. The only "modification" that was required on this install that I never really showed in the episode was the heat shield for the factory exhaust had to be bent up and back. As I had Contact issue with the new diffuser. Other then that it is a direct fit and no modification to the exhaust it self. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out. Bonjour Merci beaucoup pour votre réponse. Si je comprends bien vous avez juste plier le bouclier Thermique au niveau de la nouvelle sortie d’échappement pour que ça passe ? Pouvez-vous m’envoyer une photo ? Merci
@@shutinyanks There are no holes in the main diffuser for the "skirt" it's designed like this encase someone does not want to run the extra skirt. Either way you will need to drill holes in the main diffuser to mount. I found it easeir to do it installed on the vehicle to align everything. But could be done with it off of the vehicle as well. I appreciate you reaching out! Be sure to consider leaving a thumbs up and subscribe! - Full Throttle
@@FullThrottleBHP Ah ok maybe on another i noticed they installed the skirt before the diffuser so that's why i thought it was bolted to the diffuser first and then the car. Thanks for the feedback

If you can find the replacement parts it should be a very similar process. Mercedes uses the same style design for them. I wish I had access to a CLA I would make a video for you but the way it all clicks into the bumper would be very similar.
There is a link in the description for a package of the blue clips! Most sites like Amazon and ebay will have them, or your local dealership of course. - Full Throttle

Thanks for reaching out. I have to admit I have not noticed any additional or new wind noise from the vehicle. This also doesn't have the rear underbelly shield that most seem to come equiped with. (Wirh out it would have much more air paying up through it.) Was your Install on a hatchback or sedan? Very curious to see what may be causing this. Please consider leaving a thumbs up and subscribing as well if you have not done so already. If you want you could also send pics of your Install on Instagram @fullthrottle.bhp. - Full Throttle

Doing then 45 conversion. I guess if I modified the heat shield I could get a custom muffler shop to reroute the exhaust through the new tips?
