Most of the times in bangalore while riding bike we usually scold one and run fast coz we dont know who is criminal or bad guy having knife in der pocket but one happy thing is to scold dem n run for der fault thats it ..i do the same im scared of ppl in bangalore too im pakka kannadiga but not loafer or chapper though..becarefull bangalore has lot of slums n bad ppl tamil or kannada irrespectively

Honking is very necessary in India because India has no driving rules. For example, driving in lanes. Even you are going on the shoulder for overtaking. Absolutely chaotic. Though I love riding, but India is not a safe place to ride. Pulling out in shoulder from standstill traffic, Just poke the nose of the car on to the main road, suddenly swerving from one lane to another lane, doing zig zag in narrow gaps between cars, anybody coming from anywhere...absolute madness. What you all don't realise is, because there are practically no rules, and everyone goes willy-nilly anywhere they want, actually slows down the traffic.
Agreed... but the real reason, I believe is there is not enough infrastructure for the amount of people out here!! and we are wayyyyy toooo many!!!!
