mk3 vr6 syncro 5x100 hub flange fit into rallye 68mm rear bearing, but need machining to clear before pressing in. Vr6 syncro has 72mm bearing housing which allows you to press in a VR6 "front" hub flange for bigger CV/brake options
i used the vr6 rear trailing arms with original shorter mk2 syncro axles combined with 02m (mk4 or TT) inner cv joints You also have to put the inner ones on backwards on the axle without locking clip (this for making a little bit more room for the axle)
The best thing to do is to ask Julian JHB, who builds drive shafts for 4 Motion conversions. They're not cheap, but they last.🤗 But Epytec should also have some on offer, don't I think? The welds don't look bad at all, do they? Do you clean the welds beforehand with a wire brush? It is important to make sure that this is not magnetic, this will contaminate the weld later and could be a problem when welding.🤔 Mfg OCWX
Thanks will go look that up 👊🏻 Yeah the welds are nice trying for more consistency and some spots or sometimes when i start the welder its only just not cleaning. Yes always clean everything before welding. Thanks as always 🙏🏻
Ah yes, the good ole safety squint! 😆
Hahaha yes
Nice Job again 💪🏼. You work 100 % exactly👍🏼 see you next Episode. ✌🏼
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great job. Driveshafts and prop are known to break if pushing the torque up high. Make them strong! Good work. 👍
Thank you, will do and make sure we will end up with strong ones.
