My husband wanted a Blackstone for his birthday, so I got him one. He LOVES it. And I've been watching Blackstone videos for meal ideas. He loves it doesn't heat the house up in the evenings cooking dinner. I got the smaller one he can take with us camping.

So, a summer gift to myself and the family was to have a backyard griddle installed. Unfortunately, by the time I had the gas connected, I had unexpectedly broke my knee. I had six weeks to dream of how I was going to break it in, and thought I was going to live out my fantasy as a backyard hibachi chef. Then I saw this video, and couldn’t get it out of my head. For two weeks, I watched this vid several times to make sure I got it down. Yesterday, I got the ok to walk again and today I finally FINALLY made this sandwich. It was the maiden voyage meal on the new griddle. It did not disappoint, and was worth the obsession. I think I charred the crust a bit but oh man it was so good. I even went all bottoms for the first one. Next time, I’ll try all tops and see which one tastes better. I really dig your and Nate’s channels. Can’t wait to try almost all of it.

Just made for first time tonight while camping. Ised vidalia onions instead of red, balsamic vinegar instead of champagne vinegar. No peppers. Was delicious and very messy! Thanks for the recipe CJ.

I am a "Quoter" myself and probably reference a movie or sitcom at least once a day. Anyhooooo. My favorite movie is Star Wars Episode 4 "A New Hope". I saw it back in 1977 and never looked back.
