AH!!! I love this series with Sun, Moon, and Tari! It's angsty but sweet all at once. And the part where she was testing his new hand and her heart rate increased and Moon overheated... EEEEEE!!! SO CUTE!!!!!
First thing the art style for this comic is amazing. It’s somehow balances being charming and being unsettling. Secondly, I could never imagine what Sun and moon are going through wanting to tell someone you love them so much but you’re so afraid to because you think that it’ll cause problems. I’m not sure if they could tell but she feels the same way. Also the brother in bolts line hit me like a truck with the realization that they are still robots it’s amazing that some people can write sun and moon so well and make them appear so human that I forget that they are not human I’m also curious why they’re so hesitant to tell her that they love her we don’t know much about the reason all we know is that they’re afraid that it’s going to cause problems was it from perhaps a previous relationship that they had or was it some other traumatic incident? Tari also has much more of an implied backstory with her saying lines like I’ve been there done that that’s really getting me more curious about Tari herself. Edit: So I’ve watched the several times, and the same detail always pops out at me when Tari is walking up the stairs to sun and moons room there is the strange glowing symbol on her arm. Now we know that whatever creature was talking to moon in his dreams sounds like Tari, so is Tari somehow connected to this creature or did the creature come from Tari? Another thing that I see really no one talking about is the use of the music the best part of the music definitely has to be after when Tari says she meant every word that she said to moon, when that soft piano kicks in when moon realizes that Tari is there for him unconditionally, it really sets the tone.
I'd say that on both sides they had their heart broken because like you said Tari said 'been there done that' and it feels like to me that sun and moon had a similar situation but moon took it harder than sun
