I've never made them with canes. I can't wait to try that. I've made tons of lizard tails (a type if natasha beed). They're really pretty.

I just started playing with clay. My biggest issue is that the clay sticks to the rollers in my pasta machine. I am using a brand of clay made by Temoning. I just subbed you and hopefully I will learn lots! I think Natasha beads are cool, but I've not had any success making them yet.

WOW!! I call the center bead (first one done) "and God created insects" - I saw a butterfly before she squished the bead fatter, then I saw a beetle and can imagine what is behind and in front of it. I would also call these 'Rorschach' beads. Very well taught and crafted!
I agree, Rorschach Beads is a good name. A bit of history: The artist who first created these and popularized them was named Natasha and so everyone started calling them Natasha BEADS.

I made my first Natasha beads last weekend and showed them to my family. We passed them around and everyone was pointing out what they were seeing within the designs. Now all we need is our PhD in psychology and we can make a gazillion of these lovely beads and shoe them to our patients! 😄 I’m not even kidding wouldn’t that be the perfect job??? 🤣

Hi Samantha, I got this done and really enjoyed the process. But do you have any ideas what we can do with all these Natasha beads?
I like to mold the Natasha beads into S like shapes and string them with roundel beads.
