Rash decision | Combine my micro locs? | Here’s what I did

Ever second guess yourself, well I did! Self maintaining your hair comes with its pros and cons, and in this video I was having thoughts to combine my micro locs due to foundational concerns. Let’s see what I had in mind.

My second set of locs were 300+ I took those down and did a 3rd set including a middle part. I now have approximately 240. They look full and I'm not exhausted after retying. Your locs look amazing!

I started with 212 locs and combined 4 to make 210. This was done during my 3rd month. By month 6 I was ready to divide them because my locs had thickened a bit. For me this proved too big a job so I retwist ed the one loc I had tried to separate and decided to leave everything as it was. Think how small Sisterloc partings are and these ladies manage not to lose locs. My microlocs are thicker than yours because I have a lot fewer locs. This was my plan to keep maintenance low.
If you keep taking care of your locs they will stay happy on your head. Love your length! I’m one year loc’d!🥳 I started with much shorter hair and it may be another year before I have length like yours.
