I Left my Heart in Toledo ❤️ The Most beautiful place I’ve ever had the pleasure of briefly calling home 🏰 Dreaming of the day I can Live there permanently! Love the video thank you for sharing
El Alcazar tiene mucha historia como siendo la escuela militar donde estudiaron mi abuelo y mi padre, Abu Firmas de Toledo salto en el abismo en el primer planeador (handglider) revestido de plumas.
Nice video! Toledo and Seville is amazing city. Unfortunately, the very large and historic Great Mosque of Toledo was converted into a church. But, it is the fact of western tolerant...
Thank for the comment. I didn’t know about the Mosque. Another thing I have learned, so thank you ☺️. From making these videos I see that this was the trend all through history, that some peoples built something, than the others came and turned into something else.

Who really actually built these magnificent buildings? Think about it next time you are looking at them. Consider the year and what tools they would of had at that time period along with horse and cart, dirt roads before the roman cobbles so in winter cart wheels getting stuck in mud. Consider also the time period, what else was going on around that time, the population... The back ground of the builder, was it his first design of architecture and how presice he got it. The huge ceilings, archway's windows and doors... Why go to all that effort to build grandeur when we were so much smaller back then and for such a small population at that time and where did they get their materials from and how they were transported...by horse/donkey and cart? No I think not. Remember to question these with any of such historical buildings, don't just blindly accept what the narrative tells you. Enjoy the wonders of the architectural designs but also research and I bet you'll be baffled. Are we really more advanced now if you think we are, how come we can't build like this now with so much better tools... No we build glass square boxes and call it modern art.
You make some very interesting points. The last one especially caught my attention. For example La Sagrada Familia of Barcelona designed by Antoni Gaudi is still not finished, and it will be a while till it will be finished. I think making a sky scraper is easier than making a gothic cathedral. Also when you look at all the details sculptures and small designs in the pillars and walls, and of course they were sculpting by hand in those days, makes these buildings even more os an achievement.

Woow que pasada, para ser el primero hay que tener agallas 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The bridge that you show in the video is actually the Bridge of Alcántara. The St Martín one is down the river, close to San Juan de los Reyes.
My bad, you are right! Thank you 🙏🏻
No worries. The rest is pretty accurate. Thanks for showing my hometown in such a nice way.
@@javierrrosellgracias a ti Javier, por verlo. Un saludo 😊

Olvida usted que la iglesia visigoda fue transformada en mezquita primero.
