You guys were right...So glad to be wrong, Ademola deservedly won Men player of the year wonderful news
Lookman off course
I'm suspecting foul play on Lookman
It's lookman, unless He will be robbed😊
Hi AyoT and SmithLayi
After the strange goings on with CAF's Thursday 12/12/24 final list selection.
CAF were claiming, that things were so tight, they were unable to whittle down the mens category from 5 to 3.
I think we should lower expectations as regards Ademola Lookman winning APOTY, its clear they are angling to give this to Hakimi
Especially after he finished 2nd last year to Osimhen , they are desperate.
Also, with Salah performing so well for Livepool currently and the rise of Brahim Diaz and its a non Afcon year, next year
its now or never for Hakimi, as the next APOTY will be really competitive
If it's not to be for Ademola, I'm sure he will shake it off and use as more fuel to fire his consistent and excellent performances for SE and Atalanta.
Obviously I hope I am wrong..Let see come Monday
Hmm, I just doubt that they would want the backlash from such daylight robbery

I doubt they care about the backlash, the Moroccans are desperate for one of their own to claim APOTY, as this is their golden period...The ceremony is being held in Morocco after all and to have Hakimi finish runner up 2 years in row is something they will fight against. The rise of Lookman this year has caught them off guard.
Just by the fact that Hakimi was nowhere to be seen in the Afcon finals, Lookman was voted in the Afcon Team of the Tournament and the only african representative in the prestigious Ballon D'or list and the way he has moved up a level this season, 5 MOM awards against top sides already, should render this a no contest and Lookman should deservedly win.
But I am lowering my expectations
I hope my senses are off and I am very wrong

For men they will give ackiin
