  • Moana is a singer-songwriter, whose interests and talents have not only earned her a place in Aotearoa’s Music Hall of Fame but have also spilled way beyond music.
Early on, Moana gathered up a law degree at Auckland University before music began dominating her life.
But, along the way, she’s taken the time to be a radio talkback host, wear a variety of hats in television and in documentary production, commit to a battle on behalf of reo and tikanga Māori, stir things along as a political activist, and stir up a few more as a well-informed columnist with an engaging touch that’s the envy of many a full-time journo.
You may also know her from her songs, like Black Pearl, Kua Makona and A.E.I.O.U.
But, as she shows here in Conversations, there’s still more to her.
Conversations was made with the support of NZ On Air.
