This movie is actually surprisingly really sad Full Uncut Commentary for this movie and other tv shows and movies is available on : www.patreon.com/SeanThompson
I'm so glad you noticed things like the connection to Pudge and Nani's surfing trophies. Those are details that went over my head as a kid and I appreciate the movie so much more as an adult. This is definitely a comfort movie. Great reaction 😊
Nani is such an underappreciated character, I mean she tries her hardest to look after Lilo, on top of losing their parents, and trying to provide for herself and Lilo and keeping a roof over their heads and paying bills and she has to give up her surfing and social interactions like going on dates with David. This film is up there for me as my favourite Disney film beside the original Lion King. What are your thoughts on the upcoming live action remake?
I love the speech that Stitch makes to the Grand Councilwoman. "This is my family. I found it all....on....my own. It's little and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good." 😭😭
The reason why The Grand Councilwoman allows Stitch to stay on earth is because of how different his behavior is from when he was on trial. In the trial, he gave her no indication that there was anything inside him that could be redeemed. But on the beach, she sees how much he has changed in so short a time. He has a name now, which he seems to prefer over his number. He speaks politely and humbly to her, instead of cussing her out like he apparently did at the trial. And he has a family that he values dearly. The Stitch she saw at the trial seemed incapable of caring for other people. But this drastic change in so short a time showed her that he WAS capable of rehabilitation.
My favorite thing about this movie is that, in the final act, Nani is JUST NOW learning of the existence of aliens, and as far as she knows Earth could be under an invasion, and none of it matters because her sister is her top priority.
Why is Pudge the fish important? Because of this, Lilo has come to the conclusion that Pudge the fish controls the weather-as he is a fish in water and rain comes from the water- and gives him peanut butter sandwiches so no other kid has to go through what she did. She is cooping with the loss of her dead parents. And this is her only way of being able to express her feelings about this. I read somewhere that she blames herself because on the day she didn't feed him, the storm happened, and her parents died. So, this is why she thinks Pudge the fish controls the weather and it's a sad tale yes. But she has a lot to deal with being a 7-year-old who's being raised by a teenage sister. Lilo is also heavily damaged herself. She suffers from abandoned child syndrome which is a common illness among children who have lost their parents. She also has a behavioral disorder called intermittent explosive disorder in which she often has outbursts of anger and usually takes it out on her classmates violently.
Your reactions are such a great way to spend time. Can't wait for the next! Would love for you to do more mystery movies since your predictions are so on point.
I’ve always found it so sad. LILOs parents died while driving in the rain, so every Tuesday Lilo takes a random fish named pudge a peanut butter sandwich in the hopes that this fish, who she believes can control the weather, will keep clear skies over the island so no one else has to die.
7:02 BTW according to The Voice Actor for Stitch who also happens to be the creator of Stitch IRL and also happens to also be The Director for Lilo and Stitch the movie his name is Chris Sanders BTW the Little kid said “You better not have rabies otherwise the dog catcher will have to cut your head off” but they had to ironically cut “head off” out of that scene for Obvious Reasons.
8:04 nani that saying that ain't helping your case. Its no excuse. Also nani should have looked where she was going she just ran across the road without looking both ways
he: what.. this means there are more experiments out there? me:ooh you got to te series this quick? he: i jhate this glases ginger! me: *knowill prety well how bad she is on the second movie* yep, justificated.

This movie is so sad for no reason but then throws out a banger like hawaiian rollercoaster ride🥲
17:27 yes nani was a competitive surfer probably aiming to go pro but she gave it up to support lilo.
Also nani is only 19 years old

Since many food items have to be imported to the islands, prices are quite high.

Please do the 2nd one of Lilo and Stitch. To cute 🤣
David is so underrated

Stitch said : Meega, nala kweesta! and the meaning has been debated for years meega means mine or I but the other words are more vulgar....
This is my favorite movie esp/ Disney
I believe that Lilo is autistic
It's a popular head canon that Lilo's autistic and I agree with it 100% 😂😊🤟🩷
