When we were in Iowa last week I saw Dollar General Market. They sell meats produce and frozen goods...mostly in rural areas.

I have both a Dollar Tree & Dollar General in my part of the city. DT is a 10 min scooter drive & DG is a little farther but not bad its only 15 min scooter drive away. I do admit that I prefer DT though. You mentioned Brooke (SouthernFrugalMomma), but this idea comes straight from Kris (CityGirlHomestead).... Have you thought about making the kiddos Waffle Pizzas on Friday nights? I have the same mini waffle maker that Brooke used in her Will It Waffle videos, and I'm gonna try Kris's Waffle Pizzas using it. I'm betting that the kiddos would love them. (Those are Kris's Waffle Day #2 video for tonight )

Can chicken tends to be super salty so draining and possibly rinsing may be a good thing when using along with an already salted rice mix.

Honey! That’s what is in the government peanut butter, the kids get at school, it’s already mixed in the big cans they come in, it’s so, good! Kids really love it even adults!

Their is also a no yeast flatbread recipe on pintrest if you dont have yeast it was great. Good warmed up as leftovers too. Just another idea

I like Dollar General for groceries. You may not have a great selection, but the product you want is normally available. Want to say... I noticed your pizza pan....it has been well used and loved.❤

Budget cooking can be yummy! I already have leftovers in the fridge for tonight, but I want to make the pizza anyway! Dollar General has had the best deals on soda lately. I also only shop on Saturdays when they have the $5 off $25 coupon. I wonder if they have a sausage flavored gravy for a bout a buck that would stretch your budget by having a breakfast pizza for dinner. Just an idea!

I shop at dollar general alot great prices on some stuff,but in my area you can get a dozen of eggs at family dollar for $1.75 for dozen and that's cheap compare to Walmart

Where I am, a dozen eggs are $1.12 at Walmart and $1.50 at Dollar General.

When I was a kid, I would eat toast with peanut butter and sprinkle cinnamon on it for a before bed snack. Also, there is a glass of cold milk. So, soothing.
