I'm so mad I only just now found this. This is insanely great. I'm overjoyed. Having only watched the copy of Tripod vs The Dragon that is on TH-cam, I had no idea about this at all. Not only was I sold from the title as someone with an alternative spirituality, but in the grander context of Yon's role in the musical as a Priest, I think it's a really fitting subject and performance. Not to mention Yon being the sleeper of the group, with the most angelic voice and the most unique instrumental contributions. No shade to Gatesy or Scod, I like them both a lot, for their own unique and important contributions to the group, but Yon is my favorite rn. Because of this.
@shuurmonsters5615 I don't remember where I got it but yep! Studio recordings of all the songs, their great! A couple do lose a bit of the stage comedy in the show but this one and all of Alana's are brilliant
I have the album so I knew this song existed but I don't have the DVD, thanks for uploading this! I never would have heard Gatesy's animal abuse jokes!!

Yon is severely underrated. Often sings the most difficult harmony, and his trumpet chops are better than expected.
I keep coming back to this. So moving.
