South African firefighters who have travelled all the way to Canada to help battle wildfires in B.C. have captured the hearts of local residents.

Why not? Nurses dancing in the hospitals in a so-called pandemic, firefighters marching to their pride. Whatever they are proud of my don't know.

There are thousands of US firefighters available this makes 0 fiscal sense other than vacation or paid field trip. One thing SA supports Russia who helped end the mess in SA so I guess that shows no bias.@@Jack_Flapper

Ashcroft years ago had a good vacation helping save property too poor to afford imported workers half way around world. there is no transparency at all. Like I said good Canada supporting a BRICS country maybe they will let us in and Russia can send firefighters? Free paid trip no footage of them near a fire like the 19 year old they hired and was killed.@@samg8012
