Really like the content, you have a new subscriber!
One small request, time stamps for the different games really help skim for new ideas

Dead cells is in my top 10 all time. Amazing game and have beat it on the deck, iPhone, Xbox, and switch. Hades is amazing as well. Both games are 10/10 imo.

Sea of stars and Chants of Sennaar are both amazing! I loved watching my friends stream Chants of Sennaar after playing it and see how people use different approaches to solve the puzzles and interpret the story. It's my 1st time on your channel and I'm interested to watch your playthrough video. One thing is the beep sound of old tv that I hope is not recurrent because I almost stop the video because of it.

I just got Katana Zero on the current sale and blasted through the whole thing on my Steam Deck. Great experience and a little difficult but a good challenge.

first video im watching from you and i've never really seen a steam cart one before. i really like how it involves the ppl watching. edot: just finished watching your vid and i'd just take out ratchet & spiderman if you're tryna save money. you already played them so i guess you can slot in other games if money isn't an issue here

As someone who has played and finished Sea of Stars, I HIGHLY recommend it, worth the money and worth the playthrough.

This is the first of your videos I've come across, and I'm glad I did. Subbed here and on Twitch, looking forward to future uploads.
The two games in your cart that I feel strongest about are Hades and Dead Cells. Dead Cells, to me, is both an all time great and a quintessential Steam Deck game, but the fact that you're a bit skeptical of Metroidvanias generally makes it a little harder to recommend, because Dead Cells is a Metroidvania-ass Metroidvania. Literally the whole thing is just run after run of unlocking gear, dying, finding out if the RNG machine presented you with a complementary build comprised of gear you've unlocked, run again, die again, repeat. Either the feel of the combat and platforming hooks you, or it doesn't, and you'll probably know one way or another after just a few minutes of playtime.
Hades, on the other hand, is incredibly easy to recommend, especially considering you've enjoyed other Supergiant games in the past. The isometric view makes it feel distinct from other 2d platformers and action games, but more importantly the writing is outstanding-surprisingly funny and at times even moving-plus the music is fantastic as is the voice acting (as you might expect from a Supergiant game), and it all contributes to the world-building and the story being told. I just wrote and deleted several sentences gushing about experiences that I actually don't want to mention or spoil in any way, you should play the game and experience them yourself. 10/10, play Hades, you'll love it.
Another thing that stood out to me about the games in your cart: many of them are on Game Pass. I haven't owned an Xbox since the 360, but I subscribed to Ultimate specifically because the Steam Deck is a surprisingly good Game Pass machine. It's a little fiddly to get set up, but you just need to go through the process once, and after that accessing Game Pass is as simple as launching any other game installed on your Deck. Dead Cells, Jedi Survivor, Jusant, Cocoon, Nine Sols, Sea of Stars, Chants of Sennaar, Have a Nice Death, and probably other games you want to play are all on Game Pass. I'd especially recommend it for the slower paced games like Jusant, Cocoon, Sea of Stars, and Chants of Sennaar. For twitchier games where you really want to minimize latency I'd be more inclined to play a copy of the game installed locally.
Otherwise, among the games on your list I strongly recommend Dave the Diver and Katana Zero. There are also a couple you mentioned I wasn't aware of, but they're on my wish list now, so thanks for that. Meanwhile I've got about 200 games on my Steam wishlist and it feels like between 75% and 90% of them are discounted this weekend, so RIP my credit card, I guess.

Steam deck has an awesome screen for games with unique art and high contrast. Highly recommend Ori since it supports HDR as well. Also Tetris: Connected. Awesome visual experience.

I know the sale has passed but the Winter Sale is right around the corner. Dredge is a great game that’s very relaxing and gets stressful on a fun level. I didn’t play it on the deck though but I’m sure it would play fine there.

If you're a fan of the Ratchet and Clank series, definitely snag the new one. I lucked out and snagged it on a crazy sale a few months back and definitely do not regret it. The story takes about 12-13 hours to complete, but an awesome game with beautiful visuals. I believe I ran it at 60fps and it did lag during intense bouts of combat, 30fps ran smoothly.

First time coming around your channel, and gotta give props on the quality! Great selection of games there for sure, and I can echo some of the other comments. Would say if you haven’t played Balatro this year I would highly recommend it. Consistently one of my more played games on the deck and a must have if you have any interest in card games.

I definitely say Hades, Dredge, and Dave the Diver. All great titles on the deck and different enough that the give you great range in new pick ups. As for your “big ticket” game I suggest Sea of Stars because it’s a great game (so far bc I haven’t finished it yet) and it’s one of the ones you don’t own already! 😉

Hades I & II, Dave, The Sea of Stars my top 3 (4) for steam deck.
    (5) Dead Cells is awesome but the deal is not the best right now as I see, wait for the winter sale.
    (6) Subnautica
(7-8) A short hike and spider man also will be really cool choice for steam deck so you can buy it on the winter sale.
    (9) Cacoon
    (10) Dredge
Also check out more Metroidvania games. Great genre for the Steam deck in my opinion. Don't know if you like this genre.
I also want to check Balatro soon. Looks great.

What if you remove the games you already own on other platforms and purchase the games you don't own for new experiences. I would highly recommend Dave the Diver.

I personally like Hades more then Dead Cells, but this is subjective, both are great.

I would say don't get the Playstation games if you've already beaten them. If you haven't beaten them, then you should get it. I would get Hades Dave the Diver, Dead Cells , Star Wars , Prince of Persia

Why do people buy games they already own and have competed elsewhere? Genuine question.
