I really understood the first man who said the Lord hugged him. That happened to me after a major surgery in the mid 70s in my early 20s. I had an incision that cut a third of the way around my right waist to tie up a fallen ki dney. I came out of recovery to my room with excruciating pain. I kept calling the nurse for pain medication and she kept saying none for 8 hours. I was desperate. There was a picture of Jesus above my bed. I said Jesus I do not need you in that picture frame. I need you now. Suddenly I was in His Arms and He was rocking me. I had no pain. After that surgery that cut 7 median nerves, I had no pain medication. He rocked me for several hours. That changed my life also dear brother.
The Lord is full of compassion and love. What a testimony! Thanks for sharing, sister.

My husband died of a massive heart attack in January. I had a dream. I knew it was Heaven. I looked around and saw a beautiful wall with trellises and balconies and vines and the bright shining light that was pink. Then I saw my husband's face and I said to him. Where am I ? This is beautiful. I have never seen anything like this. as I looked around at the wall. Then I knew that we were dancing. I led. then he led. Then the dream was over. I woke up the next morning and remembered the dream and I just knew that this was my husband showing me that he was in Heaven. Which this had been my prayer since he had died that he be in Heaven.

I was the biggest non-believer of them all. It took me a long time, and a lot of research, to finally be open to the possibility that a different realm exists. Some call it heaven, I just call it a different realm, where our consciousness returns after our physical body ceases to function.

I'm sorry to hear about your son. May I suggest you watch the documentary "Afterlife", available on Amazon video, Netflix, and perhaps other places as well (your local library may have a copy). It will help with your healing.

Nathan Miller 45 min of cpr to bring me back, 3 weeks on life support and nearly 2 years later my heart has only come back to 50%. My mother was a hard working straight talking Irish woman who raised twelve children with little money and no help. She was not one to talk rubbish or listen to other people talking rubbish. She was not religious and in the forty seven years I knew her, the only time she went to church was for weddings funerals and christening's. She told me of an experience she had whilst having an operation in hospital. Although she did not mention god or heaven etc, she said whilst having this operation, she suddenly felt relaxed and content. She found herself looking down at herself on the operating table, everything was bright and she had a feeling of warmth and happiness. She said she knew at this point she was ready to die, but didn't care. She felt so comfortable in this state, without any worries at all. She was happy if she didn't survive her operation. The next thing she remembered was waking up to find she was ok in her hospital bed. I suggested maybe it was just a dream, after all dreams can seem so real. She swore it wasn't a dream, if you went through it, you know its not a dream, its really happening. Because she was such a honest straight talking woman, I have to believe her. It didn't make her religious or anything, she still never went to church. The only thing we found out after she eventually died, years after this incident, she had phoned the local priest who came and administered the last rites to her, a week after that she died. I only hope wherever she is, she's as happy and content as she was in that moment on the operating table.

I'm blown away......when I was 9 I almost drowned in the San Marcos river. I had the same exact expierence. I got cought in a wurl pool just off of a man made water fall. I lost strength fast, fighting to stay above water. My whole life at that time flashed before me. It was surreal. I began to feel perfect love and peace as I began to drown. Two divers to my surprise where Bellow me. They saved my life,as I was slipping away .....I remember there hands grabbing me and taking me to the river bank. I came too fast..thankfully,There was a large crowd just watching. Till this day who ever those divers are,I thank them.

The same thing happen to me I was 11yr and I almost drowned, My whole life flashed in front of me, next thing I remember was rising above the water I could see my father and mother & my brother standing by our car, I could see myself on the grown my dad was slapping me on the back, I have no hearing in my left ear and not much in my right ear, but for a few min I could hear the birds singing it was wonderful, the next thing I remember I was in the backseat of our car with a very vary bad headache and feeling sick, I don't remember my dad getting me out of the water, I'm 77yr old now. I've told around 4 people my story but after listening to this, it's time to share it with the world.
I had a similar experience 9 years ago while I was a restaurant manager. Upon closing after a busy and successful weekend, our backdoor was stormed by criminals. They shoved a gun in my face and demanded the takings. As soon as I showed them where the money was, they pushed me aside. I layed down on the floor, rested my head on my folded arms and closed my eyes.
People, what happened next can never be completely explained or described in words.
As soon as my eyes shut closed, my spirit left my body. I was no longer in the universe (which is material)... But in the spiritual realm. It was pitch black and went on for eternity. There was no floor or ceiling, no walls or doors. Just a vast, dark expanse. I'm not sure how to explain this but I could see clearly in the darkness and I could see the edge of eternity but in the same breath, I also knew that I could never reach that edge.
Beyond the edge of eternity, on the other side, was God.
There is absolutely no denying that this is Him. I knew it was Him. You just know it. You can try as hard as you want but when you are there, you will never be able to deny that it is Him. He is HUGE! He is so huge and overwhelming. The closest I can come to comparing this to something that we may use as a measure would be if we could take a quark, grind it into a fine silt, bombard it with who knows what else to make it even smaller... And then label that particle as me and the universe that we live in as God. And then, He's still bigger than that! My mind can not comprehend it.
Then comes the part of feeling. This man in the video speaks of feeling. It is true. Not only did I know that it was God on the other side but I felt Him. Again, overwhelming. Love. Pure love. Perfect, unconditional love.
This all happened in what I can only assume to be split seconds.
My thoughts were clear as day. I knew exactly where I was and what was on the table.
I spoke to God and said to Him "Please don't let me die". In that very instant, I remembered seeing 2 of the waiters being escorted into the dining room at gunpoint by one of the criminals just before I went to the floor. My thoughts turned to them and I remember thinking about how young they were and that they still had their entire lives ahead of them. Immediately, I dropped the question regarding myself and then asked Him to spare their life instead.
A wormhole has nothing on what happened next. In a flash, at what could only be described as the speed of light or faster, I returned to this body. In the midst of all the chaos ensuing around me, my head jolted up, my eyes opened and there was peace, inside. I remember seeing the feet of the criminals and hearing their voices as they moved around me but I was not scared anymore. I knew that we were going to be ok. It was not anyone's time to leave.
There are a few things that stand out from this. I had no worldly possessions with me. I had no body either so stop stressing about what you look like. All I had was my consciousness and my history.
Money don't mean squat either people. You can have all the money in the world but it ain't buying you a ticket to the other side.
The only way to get to the other side, is through Jesus Christ His Son.
You can give everything you have away. You can do only good for every other person on earth for the rest of your life. It isn't going to help you either.
The only way, is to believe in Jesus Christ. He, is the only way.
Maybe you're sitting there asking yourself how do you do this? The answer is simple.
Read your Bible and do as it says.
For those who do not believe or refuse to believe, what have you got to lose by trying?
I would like to share my survival testimony I suffered a massive stroke 2years ago it’s only by the grace of god that I survived my stroke lasted for 5hours before I was able to receive medical treatment, god spared this sinners life, I knew of Jesus before my stroke, I just didn’t have a relationship with him I was a wretch I was living for the flesh and running with the devil, I now walk with Jesus, I started attending a church about 3months after leaving the hospital, shortly after that I the lord gave me a dream in the dream I dreamed that my healing would manifest in July, it’s now July I believing god for a miracle healing, he will be glorified and praised through my healing he is finished with me I will have a radical healing testimony to share soon! My wait is over thank You Jesus!

I am a retired teacher and a committed christian but when i was a young woman when I was in prayer , I suddenly felt a tremendous sense of peace and love . I was taken up out of my physical body . As I looked down upon myself below , I began to feel frightened and then instantly went back into my body . The experience has assured me of spiritual reality and life beyond the physical .
The key here is he called on God on his way out, and God forgives and accepts us into his kingdom when we call on him.

I disagree Rmw Brown. God loves us irrespective and I believe we are all made new when we die. The notion that we're the ones doing the saving by calling out, or saying the sinners prayer is a notion based on fear and is usually interlinked with the belief in an eternal hell. It's generally used to control people. When you know you are already truly loved as you are; that is when the good news becomes clear. That is when you just react with joy and love for others. God doesn't barter in the way you believe he does. If God is sat there waiting for us to be sincere amidst the total and utter crap some have to put up with, then he's a raving janus faced psychopath.
I don't believe that is God. I believe that is the God we made.

You're already loved and I believe our understanding of time and space is so limited we couldn't even come close to understanding how we are constantly being made new. Thank you for sharing this. For years my brother and I paddled White water all over Northeast Alabama. The last time we did a class 4/5 creek we were both put in a situation where death was definitely possible and imminent. God was watching over us and I thank Him for that. Glad you made it out bud! However I did not have much of a christian faith at the time, more buddistic views. That might explain why I got to talk with my grand-father. However I know there was alot I have forgotten and several other "entities" were there besides me and my grandfather.

Thar's a trip! It's hard for me to exactly know what was actually happening to me. But when I had an accident on my scooter after a tire blowout while going 60mph. I DID NOT feel the accident. I only felt like I was very relaxed, on a beautiful sunny day at a beautiful beach area, just ENJOYING the piece and quiet! NEVER EVER FELT SO COOL AND RELAXED! It was the BEST experience I ever had! It was a REALLY COOL experience, so pretty! I WANT to experience it again! I REALLY LOVED IT!

Out of these awful accidents a gift is given. My NDE was over 40 years ago and was also told to return and love people with all my heart but the biggest "take home message" given to me was to not love anyone or anything higher than "HIM". It was the most profound life changing experience of my life. Do I know if there is life after death?...I 100% do, as anyone who has had an NDE will attest to. For those who have lost their love ones I wish you each comfort and peace and for those struggling in the darkness of depressions I offer you along with so many others, faith, hope and healing.
Some people say that because NDEs are not consistent they must be hallucinations. Hallucinations, as per psychiatry, do not leave a lasting impression - it’s not life changing as NDEs. The NDE experience is similar for some people and different for others and it always leaves a life changing impression on the person’s mind. I believe that the reason why the experiences vary could be that we as people are different from one another, and each of us have our own particular lessons to learn that is meaningful to us and to us alone. That’s my humble opinion.

I believe the reason all these cases are all different because it goes by your perception.. whatever you believe is what u see.. if you believe there is a hell and feel guilty upon death or near death experience then that’s what you see.. truth of it all is there is no hell.. hell is man made.. it’s purpose is to create fear for control of the mass .. we r here to learn lessons.. you don’t throw your child in the fire every time he does something wrong. The child learns through lessons on his own, no matter how long it takes.. there is only Love and light..
I believe how long a person is pronounced legally dead, you do see a pattern in the NDE. The short ones see the darkness, tunnel light and that may be it, few see a spiritual guide or family member, the ones who are there longer see descriptions of heaven or hell and Jesus and angels or the devil and demons. There was one who was able to see other people who were going to hell, to see what they experienced and realized that the ones who see family members first when they were guided the familiar spirits morphed into demons who then started attacking and dragging them into a pit but the ones who saw Jesus, angels, the light and warmth of God and heaven didnt ever experienced being deceived like that. Look into it yourself and see. Just what I noticed

Love Life / hi, everyone is different so experience of leaving body is a bit different. I've had similar case... The truth is that everybody is soul, not a human :-) when near or real death comes we Frick out because we are too much immersed in earthly dealings. Soul thinks of himself as human, that's false ID. When I gets out and sees other reality , peace, light etc. it's true but without prior preparation in life forgotten soul is confused - only field of attraction was body, family, home, work... So NDE , OBE are extra wake up even for those who hadn't had it, to change life, to switch to spiritual knowledge and search for perfect life with God... Death is just passage to next life but if we are busy only with money, job, family ... Then it's s problem

The Bible says the only son that will not be forgiven is blaspheming the holy spirit. ( That is, attesting the works of the holy spirit to satan.). It also says God is faithful to forgive if you truly repent, in your heart, of the sins you have committed. Romans chapter 10, verses 9 & 10, says: " If you confess with your mouth, the lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. "

Hi it’s people like you sharing and telling how it was for you at this terrible time, that HELPS others. There are so many accounts of near death experiences for it not to be true. Your account of what happened to you was terrifying, I could almost picture it happening to you. So glad this account had a happy ending. When my husband died (and was brought back) he told me he had died. I said really ? I knew he was basically dead and wondered how did he know. He told me his life went backward like a film movie, both good and bad very fast and toward a bright light. The last time he died....everyone was too late. I told him to not be afraid.....go to the light, the light was good, he would find Jesus in the light.

There is no doubt in my mind this was an authentic experience. It matches so closely to so many other testimonies. These people can't possibly all be having the same 'dying brain hallucinations', and you can tell they are not lying, there is genuine peace and love in the way they describe it. My belief in these testimonies has caused a great amount of concern to my bible thumping friend who insists that until I go to church and proclaim Jesus Christ as my savior, my soul will be lost to eternal hell. I keep trying to tell him I am not worried, and he shouldn't be either - I am light years ahead of his awakening and he is the one who needs to catch up. He is very concerned I will be one of the poor souls left to wither and die on earth when the rapture comes. I see the genuine pity in his eyes. He is a very dear friend and in every other respect, I love him to pieces, but I've started limiting my time with him because every conversation seems to lead to the salvation of my soul. Your assumption is that when one is "braindead" there is no consciousness. The point of NDE's is that there IS consciousness even when people are braindead.
Before you start screaming "materialism" it has been absolutely demonstrated and PROVEN that even when there is NO brain electrical activity, consciousness can remain. The famous NDE of a patient who was cooled below freezing and all brain activity was monitored and STOPPED during brain surgery, proves this. She was aware of what was going on in the room around her.

My point was he would have to have SEAL training and conditioning in order to go through all that in great detail if he were telling the truth. That is not an assumption.
It seems to me that he is lying. I see consistency in looking to the lower right of the screen when he says an accusation or detail. Also on top of that, he repeatedly shakes his head in opposition to what he says. Which is a common subconscious signal of lying.
‘As I push my way forward, those are the three things I was thinking of: surviving, my family, and praying.’ He does this while simultaneously shaking his head in non-agreement, with many more examples of this occurrence.

It is always possible for anyone to lie. However, similar types of NDE's have been discussed, studied and recorded for centuries. You would probably simply describe it as a "dying brain".
I might accept that diagnosis except for the fact that I had one during a tonsillectomy when I was only 6 years old. It was a very, very peculiar experience. Also, various veridical aspects have been reported and verified that occur during complete lack of brain electrical activity. Materialism has no explanation for that.

I agree. I have always had a phobia of drains in pools even though I spent hours and hours swimming as kid. To me that would be the worst surprise I could experience. I guess we adapt to whatever situation. Just listening to his description of being sucked into the pipe gives me the hibbee gibbees!

Well luckily, I survived , I was looking a a city bus coming at me at a high rate of speed, I was in the passengers seat of a car with a friend driving, I covered my head and was sure this was the end ! But it wasn't, in fact I survived without a broken bone ! Just badly bruised on the one side of my body ! But ! I know what you where saying !!!! And that, in itself is quite an experience !
