Stafford to megatron was arguably the best connection of that time. Staffords arm with megatrons deep ball ability made an amazing connection and one to watch

I dont think it's possible to get as unlucky as the cardinals did during that stretch
2013: went 10-6 but still missed the playoffs. That record almost always gets you into the playoffs but not in this case
2014: had an 8-1 start but then Carson Palmer tore his ACL which led to a team collapse
2015: had an absolutely dominant 13-3 season but it just so happened that it was during the Panthers 15-1 season. They would've gone to the superbowl any other year
2016: lost 3 or 4 games due to special teams alone which costed them a playoff spot
So yeah in conclusion, being a cardinals fan is tough even when they're good

At the time I remember how hyped I was to see *Megatron* vs Patrick Peterson. I miss Calvin, like Barry the Lions did another legend dirty. Calvin was always double even triple teamed. I remember the Saints at the goal line having 2 corners pressing Calvin at like the 3 yard line. To this day I've never seen that formation against a wide receiver. Megatron is a first ballot hall of famer no question.
That was me too. My favorite player ever. Every Sunday I had to watch him play.

Legit defense at 3 levels. Starting up front with Calais Campbell and Darnell Docket (All-Pros) moving the pocket. Inside you had Carlos Dansby who might be one of the most underrated at his position during this era, next to him was a young man with loads of potential Daryl Washington. They had brought big John Abraham over from ATL who was reaping the benefits of a change in scenery and an explosive first step. On the backend a true #1 corner in Patrick Peterson & let’s not forget the wildcard who made it special, Tryann Mathieu. You throw guys like Jerraud Powers, Justin Bethel & Antoine Cason for added depth. That team should have won their first Super Bowl.
Agreed...One of my favorite defenses we had with lots of my favorite players. Shame that they didn't win one and that Washington chose other endeavors...
Only problem is they ran into some loaded teams in Seattle and Carolina
@EZR their division was a nightmare to get through - San Fran & Seattle had monster defenses loaded with Hall of Fame talent. The Rams had a scary 1-2 punch off the edge with Long & Quinn. Also, Deebo (James Harrison) made probably the greatest play in football history with that INT for a TD before the half. Those were fun years of football!

Deion Sanders is the most overrated corner of all time. In 5 seasons Marcus Peters has more interceptions, interception return yardage, and pick 6’s. Deion dynasty hopped to the 49ers and cowboys.

It's hard to get picks when QB's are too terrified to throw to your side of the field. Not talking about throwing to the guy you're covering but actually wouldn't even look to that side of the field. If QB's don't fear you, they will throw your way all game. Therefore you get more picks, if you have halfway decent hands and ball skills.
