You're not bad at it, just really unlucky with the abbots! I only just bought the game and very excited now to have a chance to play solo too

There’s purple meeples?! Which edition are they in?

Sadly, there aren't any in the base game. I got them 3D printed at my local public library. (I have found places online that will sell a complete set of "purple Carcassonne wooden meeples", but as far as I know, they're not in any official versions)

If you just need the regular sized meeples or the big meeples from Inns and Cathedrals expansion, you can get them from The Game Crafter, but they don't have the whole set if you have other expansions.

When purple wasnt able to place a meeple because there are no farmers, wouldnt that have ended the game?

Sorry for not responding when you first sent this. No, you don't use farms in the solo mode.

1:40 a 2 tile city scores only 2 points. It’s an exception but in the official rules.

Thanks! If I'm understanding correctly, the 2-point city exception was in an earlier distribution of the game, but was later changed. In the solo mode rules linked, in the scoring section, there is a (green) city that is made up of two tiles that they score as a 4 point city. Thank you very much, though! I do always appreciate clarifications when I make mistakes in my videos.

@@LucasGentry I'm not sure why it was changed. We play the original rules, and it's just too easy to make 2-cities, so your maps will tend to have more than normal 2-cities, which in a normal game would give the farmers far too much weight.
I do know there were at least 2 farmer rules, so before the game starts all players should agree which of the two farmer rules will be valid.
There was one that you decide per town which farmer supplies the most; going town by town, and another where the fields are given to the dominant player. I'm not sure it's too long ago.
