I've watched about 6 of your videos and you do a very nice job. You're never negative and seem to give your opinion in a fair and honest way. Good job young man! Will you be doing a video of your trip to Maui? I have to laugh a little bit as I remember many many years ago when I began my flying career, we used to fly a trip from Chicago to Los Angeles (via Minneapolis) to San Diego on a DC-10 and we actually did a beverage service between the two California cities!!!
Thank you very much for the support. Yes, I am working on the Maui trip report and it will be uploaded next. As for the last statement, I definitely wish I was around for the days of flight in the 70s. Thanks again
Pretty good review, but a couple points of interest, 1. That "high pitched whine" is indeed an electric hydraulic pump. It supplies 3k psi pressure NOT electrical power. Also, really nice view of that heifers broadbeam as you were following her out to the bus.🐄
The only thing I HATED about my LAX-SAN flight on American Eagle was the fact that when I arrived in San Diego, my luggage DID NOT! 🤬 My luggage got to LAX with me on my AA flight from JFK just fine, BUT, it wasn't until FOUR DAYS LATER that AA rang my friends doorbell at her house in North Park and FINALLY dropped off my bags. 🤮🤪 This flight is what stopped me flying AA after that really.
so why take an airplane when you can easily take a car and drive there? I am from San Diego and both SD and LA are actually very close to each other. about a few hours drive.
First of all, if you just came back from Hawaii to LA, would you have your car waiting at LAX? Even if you did, you'd have to pay for parking. A lot. You'd have to get your luggage and schlep it till you find your car in the long-term parking lot. You'd then have to navigate the labyrinth that leads from the airport to (finally) the freeway. And then you'd have to battle LA traffic for at least an hour to be moving freely...if you were lucky. Now you get to drive all the way to SD. If you have the money and can switch planes without changing airlines, this is by far the easier way to to do it.
I agree wth you in the fact that the crjs look AMAZING in AAs livery
Awesome, right after I flew to San Diego!
Flaps are "extended" for descent.
Awesome video
I love these Regional plane, its a flying shuttle bus, or flying paratransit bus.
Well that's something you don't see everyday a bus taking passengers to another part of the airport wow I wish we had something like that

Sierra Kilo, my brothers! (and sisters!)
I. Flew to San Diego California to see my cousin's they still live there
Do you even go above FL20 ? 20,000 feet? for such a short flight
I don't think so actually
On Flightaware, these flights seem to cruise at 10,000 ft.

Embraer 190AR American Airlines Los Angeles To San Diego

As far as I know, people usually take this as a connecting flight. That's always been the case for me.
It is a matter of convenience

Because he more than likely came from a bigger destination. There'd be no planes if everybody wanted to drive love......
You could fly from Hawaii to San Diego on Alaska Airlines.
