I'm born in 93 in NYC n I grew up to this show cuz back than as a 90skid when u have a poor family or gd family tryna live that family life like the characters from the parent'hood but it taught you life lessons n helping ya siblings one another
It's hypocritical that Zaria called the girls hoochies,but her skirts were short and showing a bit of cleavage. Lol!!! And her decisions back fired on her. Teenagers can certainly learn from this.
Zaria was doing too much Why drop out of school ? And her dad was right, she won't be a teen forever, how is she gonna host a teen show when she is in her 30s..? It wasn't gonna last forever, she wasn't thinking about the future..and I surprised that Jerri didnt offer to give cece:s poor friend some of cece:s old clothes and toys

Ironically in Season 5, Zaria goes to bat for a teenage single mother who was deemed 'not a role model' for being a teen parent who was rejected from a scholarship association. Zaria was fired from Teen Rap for being a high school drop out which was deemed 'not a role model' for teens. I wished she had talk to Genesis prior to making the decision as she was a good fit for the talk show. For her to drop out to focus on a talk show was uncharacteristic for her being a studious teenager. It goes to show how teenagers can be blinded by the bling of money at their young age thinking it will always be like that. Brenda on 227 (Regina King) in Season 2 took on a part time job where her grades were dropping and she could get on the career path of the burger restaurant as she was admiring one her teen co-workers. The co-worker later turned out to be a teen mom who dropped out of high school and struggled with math at the cash register when the system went down.

My grandfather used to say, 'you're going to need a high school education to sweep floors now so don't be a fool!'
I used to get mad back when shows used to come on and we will have to wait a whole nother week just to see him or we missed the part now we can just go back and rewind and keep on looking ☕☕🍪🍩🍘
