子供だった頃、一度入ったらいつまでも居て良いと言う謎システムのド田舎の映画館で、一日中グレートの総集編を観ていた思い出。
ギャラファイでスーツの質感まで再現してくれてて、本当に嬉しかった！
昔の映画館は1回の上映券を買うんじゃなくて入場券を買って席離れるまで好きなだけ映画を見れたんですよ
スターウォーズの大ヒットで居座る人が多すぎて観客の入れ替えが出来なくなったので上映1回ずつの席券購入に変えて多くの人々に見られるようにしたんですね

ゴーデスと地球っていうウルトシリーズ史上トップクラスに厄介な敵と戦ったグレート。
こうして現代で貫禄と共に帰ってきたグレートを見るとすごい感動する。

相手の攻撃捌きながら懐に入り込んでダブルパンチするの、ほんとグレートって感じ。超かっこいい
グレートのベースは空手のようでそれを調べてみようとこの動画にたどり着いたら、上段十字受け→下段十字受け→内受け→外受け→山突き→右前屈立ちの逆突き。本当にまっとうなほどの空手ですね。

@@user-jq1td6xn6h グレートのスーツアクターは極真空手の経験者でしたからね。自分も極真出身なので動きを見てすぐに分かりました。他のウルトラマンには無い独特な動きでとても好きです。
グレートの格好いいところはここなんよな、静と動の「武術」なのがたまらん
そうだったんですね。
自分は、動きや体型から黒人レスラーっぽいな、と思っていたんですが、極真空手と動きが似ているとは思いませんでした。
グレートの歌おかあさんといっしょに出てきそうな声でシンプルで好き
大いなる陰謀のグレートマジでめちゃくちゃかっこよかったですよね。当時と同じような動き高速で移動する相手に1発で当てる。本当にかっこいいですね。

本編では2回しか使われない技だけど、あの独特の構えから放たれるのが凄く印象に残った。
ウルトラマングレートは技が多彩だし、環境問題を取り入れて作られたメッセージ性の強い良い作品ですねぇ。

こう見たら坂本監督って凄いな。パワードやグレート、リブットと言った海外ウルトラマンの動きを完璧に再現してる。
再現どころか更に洗練した動きに昇華させてる辺り超有能ですよね。
坂本監督は本当に見せ方が上手いから大好きなんですねw
パワードとか押すトラマンとかネタにされてたのを張り手とか重量感増してちゃんとした技にしてるのがいい
リブットを後のトリガーでサブまで引っ張ちゃうってかなり有能ですよね
グレートを観たのはレンタルビデオ店で初めて見て「日本のウルトラマンとは違う」と思った。建物などがリアルだし何しろグレートのスーツが布だし。初期のナレーションは藤岡弘、さんだし。

ライダーや戦隊は初期は布ですし戦隊は今も化繊の布ですしライダーもベースは布ですね
隊長の葺き替えは故・小林昭二さん（科特隊）のキャップ役の人だし。
かなり豪華でしたね！
もうそれだけでテンション爆上がりでした！
ギャラファイの映像を使ってる部分、スラン星人の攻撃を捌いて反撃するまでのリズムが、曲とピッタリ合ってて爽快。
映像の選び方が秀逸。
昔は意識してなかったけど極真空手の型を下地にした格闘がカッコいいな

Who does he voiced?
Kyomoto played Jack. And Akiji Kobayashi, who played Arthur Grant, also played the captain of the Science Special Search Party in the very first Japanese TV series Ultraman.

子供の時、初めて見たウルトラマンで思い出深い。貫禄というかベテランって感じがたまらなく好きだわ。今後も映像作品に出てほしい。
「USA」に続く海外版「ウルトラマン」2・・・いや3号ですね。「80」に続く実写版「ウルトラマン」の復活でしたけど、結構好きな「ウルトラマン」でした。ストーリーの完成度も高かったと思います。主題歌も吹替版も字幕版も名曲だと思います。
懐かしいなぁ。グレートは姿勢が良いから戦い方が栄えて好きだった。今見てもビームの出し方めっちゃ格好いい。

Such an underrated series, it has some GrEaT visuals and kaiju designs, and the fighting coreography isn't bad either, good series to watch when you're bored and want something short to watch. Don't let the spandex suit fool you!

@@ftofto8334 They we're trying for a more realistic feel in how they moved(something as large as an Ultraman could hardly do backflips in a split-second without breaking every bone in their body), and the result was rather...mixed. I appreciate the attempt at realism, but like you I prefer the more fast-paced martial arts fighting style the franchise perfected over the decades.

ちょうどウルトラマン25周年の頃だったかな？シリーズの再放送も盛んで、夏休みの朝に平日に一話か二話放送して、本当に夏休みの最後の放送の後に新しいウルトラマンとして紹介されたのを覚えてる。グレートのスーツアクターは二人でやってて、どちらも極真空手の有段者だったと思う。タロウ～80で多用されたトランポリンの派手なジャンプアクションこそ使ってない物の、力強い本格的な格闘シーンが迫力を、オーストラリアの伝統の人形技術を活かしたとの触れ込みの大型人形操演がスケール感を生んだ本当に「新しいウルトラマン」だった。
オーストラリアで海外向けウルトラマンとして実験的にスタートしたグレートは当初の予想を遥かに上回る人気を博し、セカンドシーズンも企画されていた。しかしそれは制作サイドの都合で没になり、残念ながら幻と消えた。話の縦糸にウルトラ戦士のライバルたるバルタン星人の地球侵略作戦

TH-camでアップされた時はめちゃくちゃ嬉しかった！
中でも衝撃だったのは第6話のゴーデスに取り込まれ、絶体絶命の危機に
主人公・ジャックシンドーが言い放った台詞がゴーデスに響き、揺れ動くシーンだ！
ジャックのメンタルの強さが逆転に繋がったんだと、僕はそう確信する！！
「ウルトラマングレート」も「ウルトラマンパワード」も、どちらも初代ウルトラマンスタイルかつ海外版と言うオリジナルの斬新感があって本当に大好きです😍❤️💕
関係ない話だと思いますけど、私が大好きな平成ウルトラマンの1人「ウルトラマンティガ」の下半身🦵のボディーカラーのデザインですけれど、私個人的にこのウルトラマングレートの下半身🦵の面影が残っていると激しく思います。
お腹〜太もも・膝にかけての模様（がら）が私個人的に凄く似ていると私は思うのです。
グレートの下半身🦵のレッドの部分に更にパープルカラーを新しく加えるとティガの下半身🦵になると私は見ていて本当に強く感じるのです😤😆💪✨‼️
グレートのアトラクション用スーツは、悲しいことにティガの敵の一体「イルド」に改造され利用されたらしいですけれど、それと戦ったそのティガの身体の一部のモチーフ案の方にもこのグレートの要素が入っていると私は本気で思っております。
とにかく、ウルトラマングレートは私も公式歴代シリーズ（※平成）からは若干外されている気がして切なく感じますけど、それでも大好きなウルトラマンの1人です。
間違いなく、ウルトラマンティガのデザインの中に彼の面影を感じます😤💪✨‼️
今度グレートのBlu-ray Disc買ってまた観てみようと思います😆👍💪✨‼️

I always like Great doing that triangle arm pose which symbolize his delta crest. The burning plasma, the arrow beam and the Great slicer are my favorite moves.

このウルトラマンですが、最初の予定では初代ウルトラマンやセブンのデザインを担当した成田亨氏がデザイン担当だったのです。デザインも出来ていたのですが契約等の問題などで実現しなかったのです。もし実現してたらまた違った作品になっていたのだと思いますね。
