He was actually very good though. He was recommended to go to Architecture school instead though because it didn't have as much life to it and his faces were not as great, but his architecture was hard to believe by the school that he didn't already attend with the talent he had.

A time before kids at that age just spent all their time on tik tok and fortnite, rather than spending countless hours every day honing their craft

They act so surprised and start questioning if I have precognition, as if I haven't heard this specific line hundreds of times. He was actually very good though. He was recommended to go to Architecture school instead though because it didn't have as much life to it and his faces were not as great, but his architecture was hard to believe by the school that he didn't already attend with the talent he had.

Most people can't deal with the psychological pain of dwelving deeply into difficult subject matters and need a black and white, all good or all bad perception of people or things. People will jump to criticize you or draw conclusions about you if you were to even say you think his paintings weren't half bad, let alone good. A lot of ''above average'' people will just rationalize too, and say it's garbage because it's lifeless or whatever because they have heard that kind of story of why he didn't get accepted and so they just adopt that view and think themselves enlightened at the same time. Meanwhile there has been actual surveys done on talented people in the art world who haven't seen Hitler's works and asked their opinion of his pieces before they say who he really was, and the majority still had a lot of positive to say about his ability. Hitler was soft rejected from possibly the most elite art school in the world at the time and told to consider applying in architecture, at a time when people actually dedicated their time seriously to their craft. A young 17 or 18 year old today who could do paintings at Hitler's level would be accepted with scholarship to virtually any top art school in the world. A time before kids at that age just spent all their time on tik tok and fortnite, rather than spending countless hours every day honing their craft
