1 Dead After Box Truck Slams Into Fire Truck on Highway 101 in Palo Alto

A deadly crash forced a freeway to shut down in Palo Alto. The CHP says a box truck slammed into a stopped fire truck in the right lane of Highway 101. Kiet Do reports. (8-4-2019)

Law enforcement, this is why fire apparatus are parked like this! Too many times in my 41 years in a large all paid department have law enforcement requested our firefighters to move the apparatus because we were blocking traffic.

Thanks. Hopefully you or your family member goes first. I wasn't the first and I surely won't be the last to make a joke comment. I get it it's insulting to the dead man's family. I don't know the guy and I don't want to Know the person. If you felt sadness for every single death even the ones that don't make the news than your either a saint or just crazy. Most people will only have remorse for their immediate family or friends. What I'm saying is that if you can't find any humor in some tragedies. Your just going to fill your heart with despair.
