With how low premiums are for war nickels compared to its actually silver weight, it’s a no brainer. Canadian junk silver is also a great route for lower premiums per silver weight.

Wow! That's awesome! I have a few half dimes and three cent pieces from around the Civil War. But not a lot. I love their history, as well as the design!
@@KingdomSilverKC Yeah, I am becoming a trime nerd, or for the later ones i call 'trickels'. the history gets me, too. at first i was committed to getting one from each year, but whoa, some of those years have very low mintage and bidding starts at +1000usd for some of them already graded and slabbed
@@FoxValleyStacker Yeah that stuff can get pretty pricey! I have mostly stayed away from the numismatic route. I see the value, just haven't gotten into it enough to feel comfortable with what I am purchasing.

Agreed! I have some Canadian junk silver as well. I think dimes? I was able to get an awesome deal.
