As someone who studied literature herself (German in my case), I can absolutely say that you should be reading (or listening to, audiobooks are a great invention) what you enjoy. There's a time and place for analysis and for reading books that are hard to understand and then there's a time for comfort books that make you feel good and entertain you. I do also love cosy mysteries very much and it's so refreshing to curl up with one (and a nice warm beverage in winter or a cold one in summer) and just forget the world. Or to have it running as an audiobook while you're doing something like setting up a bullet journal (going into my 11th year with one now) or doing something else where you can spare an ear for the story you're listening to.
The worst (best) is when I get so caught up in the story, I catch myself just listening 😁. I have capacity for maybe 1 or 2 more intense books a year, but otherwise it's my escapism so I will read (almost) any cheesy book!
I love this whole setup! I too have a million courses I've purchased and haven't completed. I would love a whole project setup that includes those as well as all the crafty projects rolling around in my head or sitting here waiting for me to complete.
It's definitely closer to becoming a thing. And I will definitely share. It's probably going to be a process that will be changed and adapted as I use it - which is my favourite part of bullet journaling! That flexibility is so key for my running brain 😆
Thanks for hanging with me while I made soup…lol. I also did not finish my OLW project nor do I feel like I’m done with my word from last year so it’s also serving me this year. It’s luminous. Anywho, there’s a lot I said to you while enjoying this video so hopefully you received those messages telepathically. Blessings for 2025!
Colors make me think of 1950's. Love them
Yes! Like a fun 1950s malt shop vibe! I can see that!
Colors remind me of the movie Grease.
@@NatashaMillerCreates, Yes! I was going to say ice cream shop!

I enjoyed The Lost Apothecary as well! You might like the Witches of New York and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.
The colors remind me of ice cream and donuts! Yum

Oh my goodness! Love this comment so much! Here's to finishing the OLW project in 2025 😆🙈
The colors look like salt water taffy to me! That’s why they look retro.
Brilliant ❤️
Thank you so much 🥰
