Tenerife, the largest island in the Canarias of Spain, is located in the Atlantic Ocean, close to Morocco and Western Sahara in Africa. The average temperature throughout the year is 18 to 24 degrees Celsius, it's a particularly popular holiday island.
Teide is the highest peak in Tenerife and also the highest peak in Spain, with an altitude of 3,718 meters. It was formed by a volcanic eruption and is the most unique must-see attraction in Tenerife.
