- This time, we are delivering shaving, shampooing, massage, and ear cleaning at "Scissors and Comb," a completely private barbershop located in Morishita, Koto Ward.

This time, we had the pleasure of visiting "Scissors and Comb" in Morishita, Koto Ward, a downtown area. The owner, Mr. Sato, is the fourth generation of the long-established barbershop "Barber Sato" that has been in Morishita for 100 years. His parents are still actively working, and according to Mr. Sato, "Our family's shop has been incorporating men's esthetics early on, so I've been greatly influenced by my father and mother in terms of massage, shaving, and ear cleaning." He has a strong commitment to the tools and materials he uses and takes a one-on-one approach to each customer with an appointment-only system, truly embodying the spirit of a barbershop craftsman. Despite his intimidating appearance, the shoot was captivated by Mr. Sato's incredibly kind and friendly nature.
