Nope it’s his imagination. The only person that knows what lee Taejon up to is dead because of that wicked father... his crazy believing the lies in his mind to live unguilty

Otherwise, why would he ask her to meet right in front of the police station (and not AT the station, 'cause he knows she would not have come if he'd said so.) And hint No. 2: why the SAD face, if he was meeting his daughter for a happy outing?
That unwelcome guest character is the most genuine kind hearted person. Seem like he did not even have intention to kill that girl in the first place. Just making them to feel guilty and realize their wrongdoings. Glad watching this in 2018
these specials have amazing actors in it!!! guy who's playing lee taeho just wow.. amazing acting skills
That girl was a victim at first but because of selfishness, she turned into a murderer.
I cried. 😭 There is a principle that came to my mind as soon as I finished watching this.. "It is better that ten guilty person escape than that one innocent suffer."

I feel bad for Taeho who suffered a lot because of a murder he did not commit, but still have a good heart 💖
this one was over the top for me. the jail guy was a great actor. I like how it ended. they did the right thing. dad reporting the daughter. justice is served.
I gotta say this is the best short drama that I've been watching.All actors were so good especially the father.i love how he depicting his emotions during the last scene.
Of all the Drama Specials i have seen so far this is the only one that made me feel the emotions of the characters,what great actors especially Park Joohyung,enjoying watching him on Wonderful Days.

Taeho's eyes was full of sadness but he didn't cry. He was too sad to even cry💔
Poor Taeho... He wanted justice but had no one to turn to so he went to the Chief.... Ah this drama is a roller coaster of feelings :'(
Wow that was amazing. I am a big fan of Park Joo-Hyung. He is very talented. I cried during quite a bit of this drama but in the end I think it all came together. Shame how selfish we can be. This is a must see.
I've watched about 10 of these Drama Specials and this one had me in tears. I couldn't contain it. I seen a lot of drama that were meant to make the audience cry but this 1 hour long special made me cry more than most of them.
Korean dramas are good at getting us to cry and crying themselves.

What a tragic story. The Chief framed this young man knowingly to get his daughter off the hook. He took 7 years of that innocent man’s short life away. His daughter never received any responsibility for the crime. Who knows, if she went to trial, she may have been found innocent and the young man could have lived happily. So very sad. Very corrupt Chief.
If only the girl told the truth the first time, if only her dad did not act as if he doesn’t know anything, if only they were honest the first time the case could be taken as self defense, she just shoved the guy because he was touching her. If that was taken to account, she can be free of charges or she can serve 2 years maximum. IF ONLY. I cried for Taeho because he left the world without being happy. I cried for him for not having a family, for not having a home and for not having someone who loves him. In the end, even with the bad things happened to him, he never let it change him. He can’t kill the dad at the lake eventhough he knew it was him who framed him and he did not go to police eventhough he have enough eveidence (phone recording) for the girl to be sent to jail. The ending makes perfect sense because what the girl did was wrong in every angle and her dad who protected her will be the one who will correct what has been done. I think, even the dad will be punished because if the girl is proven to be the murderer, it would be known that he tampered with evidence while being assigned to the case. *anyways thanks for reading this long comment, TWO THUMBS UP TO THE ACTORS AND ACTRESSES*

He loved her too much; and the daughter was remorseless.Even if he wanted to, he would easily be persuaded by his daughter not to do so.Anyway, that is what I think. The father is struggling between his love for his daughter and doing the right thing; his daughter has no such feeling.
thatMD fan Its strange but these Korean dramas really distorts my moral compass. Even when I know the chief had framed the guy, I felt more sympathy for the chief and his daughter than for the guy. It was only after I knew that he had cancer that I felt sad for him.
nawang dawa At the end scene, it was kinda implied that the chief/father will report his daugther. If only he did it earlier. Anyways, I was thinking the same as you at the beginning but when I learned the whole story, I can't help but feel sorry for Taeho and hate for the daughter.
When you watch movie definitely you feel sad for Taeho, in reality there are a lot of people across the world protecting their kids this way. I felt sorry too but when you see immigrants drowning what we did is let them die, I think most of us playing same roll like father or daughter.

The daughter deserve to suffer more than anybody in her whole entire life.She was never sorry for the pain she caused the poor guy.The father was to wick too,We all love our family members but we have to draw the line between wrong and wright. I even forget it was a Drama the way I cried.Good acting thumbs Up but I hate the daughter!!!!

A very heartwarming and great drama. So sorry and sad for Lee taeho. Same with the daughter and father that the unwelcome guests came into them(Lee taeho) bec of the Detective's conscience.

Everyone lies, and an innocent gets blamed. You can’t ever give people back time when you have wronged them 😫
This was a good movie. Don’t want to spoil it so stop reading from here, watch it and then return for the comments......The main character had a bad childhood rejected by his father, his mom who knows what happened to her, but his arrest really shows his character. He could have easily ratted the chief daughter out but he didn’t. He served 7 years taking the blame, protecting the girl. Getting out of prison he has much resentment for them, thinking that they lived free and happy in the outside world all this time, not realizing that they are in their own mental prison of guilt. I believe that his cancer came from his bitterness. In some way, he really only has himself to blame because his heart won’t let him take revenge on the family. He could have used this opportunity to gain a family that he didn’t have. He could have said to the girl, I went to prison for 7 years for you, don’t forget that and live a life doing good from here on. She tried to tell him that she is in school, volunteering in the community, and to accept her apology. He won’t accept that and wanted her to suffer more. When people are not forgiven and force to a corner, they turn evil not knowing what else to do. To the father, he could have gained a new dad who will forever care for him and will be grateful to him. He could have ended his life saying “my time in prison is not in vain if she turns out to be a good person And I have gained a father and a friend. I am no longer alone.” But no, the movie has that girl to be a brat all the way to the end, even shocking her dad as to how bad she could be. And the prisoner was bitter to the end deciding to walk off into the sunset to die alone. I ain’t crying for his decision. There is satisfaction with the end scene where the dad calls his daughter to meet him in front of the police station. If he doesn’t turn her in being the brat she is, he will create a monster. Perhaps he just want to have a straight talk with her on the impact of their decisions to teach her how they have both wrong the man. Perhaps he won’t turn his daughter in but they can both learn to be better people from their encounter with the unwelcome guest so his death and his prison time won’t be in vain. Thanks for reading my spin on this movie.

Yeonghui is amazingly heartless. She's still living an amazing and happy life even after the death of this innocent man! The way she was desperate to woo him with money at the dinner... wow!

This movie made me so sad and angry that the dad and daughter had excuses when they were in the wrong. I dont even know how they could live with themselves and have the nerve to get upset at lee taeho. i wanted her to get turned in but it never happened. the ending was so unfair. Great movie on how selfish and disgusting people can be.

I have a love-hate relationship with the actor(the father) he's always framing people, first in the drama 'Glass Mask' and now in here. None the less this was an intense movie…the two male actors' performance was excellent!
Through out this drama there is nothing more I wanted to do than give that guy a hug dear God that girl is awful how dare she say I suffered too like his freaking equal?

I really thought Taeho will marry his daughter at the end, I cried to see him suffering 7 years in prison, and he is good-hearted, that he can't just do anything to both of them, NO MATTER HOW HE TRIED TO BE EVIL, HE JUST CAN'T! what is worse is that he didn't even get time to forgive the old chap, and he died a very painful lonely DEATH.

I REALLY HAD MY HIGH HOPES...I LOOKED AT HIM FOLLOWING THAT ROAD, I WAS HOPING Someone will at least take him along, I was hoping that maybe an experienced doctor will come to do him a surgery in that sick bed, I was longing that they would just add some minutes again, to show some love to the poor lad, This is the saddest movie I have ever watched!

If the father hadn't freaked out at the beginning and reported the case as it was, his daughter would have had a "self-defense" plea or "involuntary manslaughter"... nice movie though.
This is really sad. I cried, couldn't hold it in anymore. This is not fair. That man never thought about killing the detective's daughter, he just wants justice.

Sad…but happens a lot innocent people in jail. The daughter did not want to take any responsibility for what she did. Terrible example for the Father to allow her to go on her merry way without consequences. Oh…so sad for him to put all the pieces together and then die. Glad the Father wised up…can't protect our kids from everything especially when they are WRONG!!!!!!!

😢it is said your innocent until proven guilty, what kind of justice system is that, the father and daughter will never have.peace,especially after the father listen to the recording, that daughter was a self centered and selfish person,besides being rotten and evil to the core. My heart is 💔 broke and I ache with grief for this soul that suffered unjust. 😊

Really nice plot..Didn't like the ending. If they want to make it much more sad ending then the story should be like.. The boy started liking the girl and everyone thought of moving on them they all came to know that he has pancreatic cancer... This type of ending seems like in a +ve way.. Isn't it?
