I think the Hippo, stands for that card where the yellow Suchomimus first leaked, were it's battling a Hippopotamus, so maybe this is the same hippo the Male Sucho fights

@@dilobaryiguanoyeah, I’m not going to lie mate, I was kind of hoping that was the Sarcosuchus as well, I still hope it might show up in this series, as this environment seems like the perfect place for one, but at least the Hippo vs Suchomimus fight should be cool and it’s presences confirms the Nublar Five are in Africa.

I don't know which ones I'm more excited for, I'm mostly just excited that it means more types of dino will possibly get merch at some point! And the non-dino creatures, too, of course!

0:23-0:44 Actually, at the beginning, when brooklyn was attacked, it was one of the atrociraptors, not the allosaurus. If you look closer at the face, you can plainly see that it's ghost.

Part of the season is said to take place in Africa, that would explain why they're encountering a hippo.
The Atrociraptor in the scene with Brooklyn has the pattern of Red, which was the only Atrociraptor missing from season 1 of Chaos Theory.
I think your right mate, this flashback might actually explain Red absence then, perhaps Red was hurt during his initially chase of Brooklyn and was separated from his siblings while he recovered, or maybe the original Red died during his hunt for Brooklyn and the one we see in Dominion is actually a new clone.
well, they gave the Atrociraptors basic Velociraptor sounds in season 1, which did kinda take me out of it a little bit. Idk why that was a sound decision, but meh lol my only real gripe. SO EXCITED for season 2!!
Apparently, there is a hint at another (possibly villain) group called Dinosaur Liberation Now (the guy in the raptor mask's organization). Seriously, that did NOT sound like a call to arms or dinosaur liberation, but a threat (and a more personal one).
My guess for Dinosaur Liberation Now: They will be the dinosaur equivalent to radical, hypocritical, and extremist animal rights groups like PETA. They rescue dinosaurs from people who exploit them, only to sell them on the black market or euthanize them despite being healthy. And they will also terrorists (my guess is that they release dinosaurs (especially predatory ones) to populated areas as a violent form of protest as well as the cliched but popular "send masked goons to throw explosives in targeted areas" and "hack a public area's computer system to send a threat video").
Okay. Now that needs to be new skins for JWE 3. Also, that hippo is supposed to be a Hippopotamus gorgops, another Cenozoic creature since the Smilodon. So there might be more Cenozoic creatures.
I think it's a regular hippo. It doesn't look as big as the prehistoric species

6:42 My one idea for the primary antagonistic dinosaurs is possibly the Mapusaurus. No one has confirmed this yet because but according to some sources online, season 2 is said to feature some new genetic experiment that breaks out of its enclosure and causes some mayhem and it's up to darius and the others to stop it from reaching civilization.

The fact that the sucho swam at around 3:46 is inaccurate, because it wouldn't be able to swim, but baryonyx walkeri could swim (according to the fossils of the animals) so this is confusing me a bit.

Also, the hippo might be a sarco/deinosuchus. It looked kind of like the way the sarcosuchus is designed in Jurassic world the game with the thin snout and bulb tip

About that hippo. Wild theory coming in, when I was a kid I had a toy of this marine reptile that looked like a shark with some sort of table looking thing on its head, even if it’s highly unlikely, that table shark thing could appear
6:16 I wouldn’t want a baryonyx vs suchomimus fight, as those two species like each other in JWE2 and it is great for mixed spinosaurid enclosures.
Someone has pointed this out in the comments of the trailer but the hippo is most likely facing away from the camera and the pink we are seeing is from the ear so while it looks like it has had its teeth removed but it’s just the angle that it’s coming out of the water from

At 0:26 that's actually the Atrociraptor not the Allosaurus. You can tell based on the shape of the snout and the color of the eyes if you close enough.
We saw the Kentrosaurus and The Temptations and we saw Allosaurus and Chaos Theory season 1 we also saw the dimorphodon and camp Cretaceous Maybe

There is an invasive group of hippos in Colombia that were brought there to be in Pablo Escobar's private zoo. This island could be close to Colombia or maybe a similar situation where the billionaire that is running this dinosaur operation, also has a private zoo with modern day animals, maybe to use in that fighting ring.
