Seems those blocks were measured for track width. I’d wager they were added later as a quick fix to help prevent the tanks from digging a hole and eventually damaging the edges of the concrete ramps when they exited the river. Might also help remedy what the gentleman stated at 9:20 A witness account states that the tanks not only crossed but also moved up and down the river. That might account for the displacement of the other blocks. Who knows? Wonderful content. Ty.
