Using Dollar ($) Sign in Excel Formula│Absolute, Relative and Mixed Cell Referencing in Excel -HINDI

When you want a formula to consistently refer to a particular cell, even if you copy or move the formula elsewhere on the worksheet, you need to use an absolute cell reference. An absolute cell reference is a cell address that contains a dollar sign ($) in the row or column coordinate, or both. When you enter a cell reference in a formula, Excel assumes it is a relative reference unless you change it to an absolute reference. If you want part of a formula to remain a relative reference, remove the dollar sign that appears before the column letter or row number.
There may be times when you do not want a cell reference to change when filling cells. Unlike relative references, absolute references do not change when copied or filled. You can use an absolute reference to keep a row and/or column constant.
An absolute reference is designated in a formula by the addition of a dollar sign ($). It can precede the column reference, the row reference, or both.
You can change an absolute reference back to a relative reference. In the cell with the absolute formula, repeatedly press F4 until all the dollar signs are removed from the reference.

Let’s talk about excel cell references in detail
Dollar $ sign - Before explaining excel cell references, you should to know about Dollar sign. A Dollar ($) fixed a cell address you can put it on row or column (both). So, first you select formula address then to fix a value you need to press F4 button. Excel $ sign formula is nothing but this $ sign uses between the formula in excel.
1) Relative Reference - When we copied a formula from one cell to another cell and formula gets changed.
2) Absolute Reference - When we copied a formula from one cell to another cell and formula remain constant, no change will appear.
3) Mixed Reference - When we copied a formula from one cell to another cell and formula gets little bit changed. Here little bits refers to a cell address (rows and columns) either a rows address changed or column address changes.
