Ahahaha, Ahri is defined as a champ who dashes around a lot with her ult, but we put so many dashes in the game that she kinda doesn't... so we changed her dashes so that her dashes give her dashes, so she can outdash dashes 🤣
The problem with this is she's probably going to become too op and I worry that they'll nerf her to shit. The dashes is a great idea but it could def bring some unwanted attention to her.
@@bb8219 I mained Ahri for quite a while, while I agree her ult and visuals severely needed the update, I don’t feel as though her damage was that bad. If you got the first kill mid lane you generally were ahead the rest of the game and the combo can 1 shot if you play her correctly
I feel like the extra dashes are necessary. As an assassin who can’t build dusk blade she needs a way to reliably all-in while having an option to get out as well like Leblanc, Fizz, and Ekko. As of rn she sacrifices damage by having to save her third ult to escape pretty much in every situation

Day 28 Maximum Maximum pen Trundle, this build will focus on building as much penetration as possible to completely ignore enemy resistances Runes: Standard Trundle Runes nothing special, although I recommend fitting in conditioning and overgrowth as they will increase how much armour you have from stealing (not how much you steal simply how much you have) Items: Divine sunderer Passive can give you up to 20% pen at 5 items 25% at 6 - Black cleaver gives you 30% armour reduction - Serylda's or LDR give you 30-35% armour pen - Sorc shoes for 18 flat magic pen - Voidstaff for 45% magic pen and maybe something tanky for your 5th item How it comes together? we all know that Trundle Ult steals 40% armour and Mr from the target so lets do 2 calculations here, first is the MR (1-0.40)X(1-0.45)X(1-0.20) = 26.4% MR remaining = 73.6% Magic Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult + 18 Flat pen from the shoes, Next I shall cover Armour with Serylda's and then LDR (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.20) = 23.52% armour remaining = 76.48% armour Reduction/Pen at full build with Ult and Serylda's (1-0.40)x(1-0.30)x(1-0.35)x(1-0.20) = 21.84% armour remaining = 78.16% armour reduction/ pen at full build with Ult and LDR This will let you blow up any target you use your ult on and still destroy others with relative ease

Definitely a lot less aids then omnipotence, in that mode you get to pick whatever god you want, and everyone has 80% cdr by default, so you just have healers, nemesis, and odin running around like unkillable dipshits.
The Rank 1 NA Ahri is going Liandry’s & Cosmic Drive to take advantage of the new Ulti. This way the Liandry’s will burn for a few seconds, hopefully giving Ahri the reset when they die, and CD will help w/ the movement speed, which would again be great for takedowns or escapes. Everything afterwards is pretty much standard, like Sorc Boots, Shadowflame, DeathCap, etc…
Hey Zwag you should try out Urgot with Runaan's Hurricane and Titanic Hydra. Similar to Graves when he gets double shots, Urgot will have his leg cannon and titanic. Using his W just makes titanic go off even faster and you delete people. If you can take it to the top lane, I am really looking forward to seeing what runes and other items you build with it.

Day 40 of three fun builds for you: In support lane run Exhaust Sona, with guardian, shield bash, bone plating, revitalize, manaflow and gathering, items are lich bane, crown mythic, spirit Visage, archangels, and mebbe swap out support item for deathcap endgame Also support but big slow build: glacial braum, with a frostfire gauntlet. Double slow fields, maybe with a demonic to add to burn. Top lane or support: max health Tahm Kench, with Fimbulwinter. Don't think you've done too many fimbulwinter videos yet, that might be one of the better uses of it.
The resets work as long as you're in combat so burn damage is super OP. Liandrys/ Demonic will be super good. (Sheesh I wonder if collector could be good just for the executes.)
yo, mr zwag. methinks liandrys anguish is finally viable on ahri, i feel like you want a lot of cdr for w movement speed since it’s only 25 mana now and gives 2s of move speed. and since she’s now more of a mage play style and you just want to team fight i feel like the liandrys would work hella good for the team burn damage. and the burn procs your ult resets
What skin is that? I like the changes from a lore perspective it fits more...previously the heal being auto's was meh but now it's just based on things dying which better fits her lore.
Jungle ahri might work lol she heals from passive, has really good wave clear now also high mobility for ganks and also the more minions or monsters you kill the more you utilize her new passive
Between the 2nd time they tried to front load her damage into landing her E now this it is like the balance team does not learn from the past. The new changes follow the path of why she was oppressive with DFG. Hope it doesn't fully go that far but time will tell. For those that were not around during the time of DFG it gave a massive magic damage amp when used on one target so Ahri would just pop that on a target press W then R around them till dead, no skill needed and wasn't much you could do since it strait out was a stat check unless you got lucky with a skill shot CC or one of the few champs with point and click cc was near by.
this actually makes me very happy. I played ahri a lot on launch, but as she changed and became more assassin like than a mage I dropped her off. She seems to becoming back to more mage like with mobility. This makes me happy for team fight power again.
Because, before her kit started focusing on "get in pick a squishing target do the combo and get out" she is FAR less effective in a team fight as her numbers needed to be lower overall and mobility to compensate for the 20% amp on that target. Now, not saying she still cannot play as an assassin, she can play more as a mage with mobility as she can target anyone and do the same damage across the board. The "resets," as it is not a reset but extra dashes in a time frame, helps her maintain power over the coarse of a team fight. This means even after dashing in, charming a person (not just whom she wants to kill but a person of either cc interest or otherwise) she can play more as a mage than before. She is no longer just a single target burst to death mage. I never stated she cannot be that anymore, but it is no longer exclusively that.
Ahri my main before this rework and I can tell you she feels much much stronger. The ult resets help her a lot in making picks and prolonged team fights.

As a former mid mage, I really wish all these buffs and mage mythic items came out a few seasons ago, just assassin mid lanes got so over powered for so many seasons I ended up just leaving mid.
If they really want to update her like a new champion they need to give her a free invulnerable shield, a passive on each ability (probably % missing health healing and %max health damage ) Give her a global ult and a revive

the healing change is a bit hit or miss... on one hand the amount of healing is more reliable and generally bigger, no getting a tiny heal cos you only hit 1 enemy, on the other hand no healing during combat unless you actually get a kill/assist. w being significantly better hopefully makes up with the slight nerf she got to her e though and the new ult is way more fun

I would have preferred a charge based ult system like old akali but I guess this kind of works and is more high risk high reward playstyle.

It only stores up to 3 extra dashes. At least thats what the notes at the beginning read
