It’s pretty awesome to have both of these on our coast right now. You throw in the option that’s there’s lingcod open in the deep water too. It’s really tough to beat what we have right now. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, there is something about those black OPS pots that the crabs don't like. I have three promar and three OPS and i'm consistently getting better numbers from my promars. I wonder if the cone is too steep for the crabs??? Great video as always!
Thanks Jon, awesome to hear you liked the video! I’m not sure about the difference between the two, we don’t have the promars for comparison. We caught limits yesterday with Outdoor pro shop hoop nets and had a much better outing this time.
They all soaked for about 30-45 minutes on each drop, there was a outgoing big tide and perhaps it was why they weren’t loaded down. We are going to get redemption forsure haha. Thanks for watching, we try to be masters! Haha
The knot that came undone was an old one we tied back in September and that has probably caught 12 fish. The outdoor one would be the gold reel that caught the first fish. I should have clarified that in the video.
So it’s actually a bracket we had made that we mounted a flush mount rod holder too. I’ll take some pics and I’ll dm it to you. It sounds great. The clamp on rod holders always ended up rotating on us
Great video guys, was just camping over in Ocean cove and some guy brought in a 179lb tuna. Now I want to go catch one any recommendations on a good character for tuna?
That’s wild I saw that! I would give north bay fish charters a call if you are near the bodega area. If you are more towards the city there are some good charters out there too.
Spoiled raw chicken always worked the best when I went out for the crabbies! If you ever catch too many, I know someone who would take some off your hands.....
Woohoo 🙌 we just watched the video!! Great job 👏 Uncle Bill caught 41 walleye so far!! Off shore, 9mile and Jefferson!! Running out of room! LoL 😅 Wanna trade?? JK 😜
Thanks dude! We love the boat, we have done everything ourselves. The evinrude came off my bass boat haha. I once was in a bass boat with a Yamaha and it was very very fast.
Outdoor pro is the BEST bunch of knowledgeable helpful guys
Outdoor is awesome and they have GREAT staff!
I like the additional information and its layout on the video. Great addition to your videos.
Thanks Troy!!
Hell of a combo there!

GR8 job guys! Can't fill it up every trip, but it's the chase that counts!!! 👍

Good job boys!!! That intense music gave me wicked Tuna vibes. I was stressing lol
Thanks dude! Glad you liked the music, I tried to give it that tuna vibe hahaha. When I watch the film it makes me wish I was out there

Spot on!👊🏻🇺🇸
Thanks !! 👍
How long did you let the crab pots soak before pulling them up? Awesome Blue Fin Catches. You two are MAD MAC masters.
They all soaked for about 30-45 minutes on each drop, there was a outgoing big tide and perhaps it was why they weren’t loaded down. We are going to get redemption forsure haha. Thanks for watching, we try to be masters! Haha
You guys should make a video on your boat some time, sweet looking rig
Thanks man! We have one in store, and will post, likely when fishing slows down!
That outdoor pro knot came undone
The knot that came undone was an old one we tied back in September and that has probably caught 12 fish. The outdoor one would be the gold reel that caught the first fish. I should have clarified that in the video.
How do you guys attach the madmac to your mono? Swivel, crimp, knot? If a knot, which knot?
Love the channel
Thanks!! We tie an FG knot as our connection knot from braid to leader and then San Diego jam for the madmac, crimps works too!
Good job i follow you form Algeria🇩🇿
Wow no way, that’s awesome! Thanks for watching!
Where did you guys find that bracket mount for the flush rod holder you guys fight your fish in?
So it’s actually a bracket we had made that we mounted a flush mount rod holder too. I’ll take some pics and I’ll dm it to you. It sounds great. The clamp on rod holders always ended up rotating on us
@@DDFishingCo thanks!!!
Sorry if this may sound like an ignorant question, but are you guys a fishing charter? I have GOT TO go out and try for one of these!
Not an ignorant question at all. We are not a charter as of right now. We are looking into possibly offering charter services next year.
If you are looking for a charter right now, I would reach out to north-bay fish charters in you are in the north Bay Area.
Congratulations brothers. You guys have slaughtered BFT this year. ❤. Crabs are cherry on top.
Thanks sir!! It’s been a blessing what we have here in our local waters. Next time more crab, they are so good! Haha
You guys have absolutely killed it this year on the Bay Area Bluefin!!!🔥
Livin da dream!!! }
You can say that again Joe, this year truly has been a dream! Thanks for watching !

Nossa vocês arrebentaram o peixe imagina se vocês pegarem uma pessoa
How heavy are the nets?
I think 15lbs
Where are you located and what’s your cost?
I’m in Vallejo
We are in Napa/Sonoma area. At this time we aren’t offering a charter yet. We may offer that next year!
wow😱
Thanks Douglas!
Spoiled raw chicken always worked the best when I went out for the crabbies! If you ever catch too many, I know someone who would take some off your hands.....
Haha I know where to find ya! Trust me there will be plenty of crabbies in the near future. We need some redemption with some chicken breasts! 😎👍
hoe fast where you trolling? looked like 15 knots
Anywhere from 10-13 knots
I got the opposite Limits of crab...😊 no bluefin😢 Still an awesome video
Nice work on the crabs! Next time we can trade how our days went haha
Sad you didnt get more crab 😢 Nice tuna though!
Yeah we wanted more crab but the tuna made it worth it!
how far offshore?
This day we were only about 20 miles offshore
@@DDFishingCo Wow! Where at?
Off the Sonoma coast line!
Woohoo 🙌 we just watched the video!! Great job 👏 Uncle Bill caught 41 walleye so far!! Off shore, 9mile and Jefferson!! Running out of room! LoL 😅 Wanna trade?? JK 😜
Wow Bill! 41!? I need to come up there and fish! Sounds like fun 😎👍
Slow down before you drop the pot, they tend to flip if you don’t.
Your boat is sick but would be ten times sicker if you bought a Yamaha.
Thanks dude! We love the boat, we have done everything ourselves. The evinrude came off my bass boat haha. I once was in a bass boat with a Yamaha and it was very very fast.
Yamahas are just far more dependable in my experience @@DDFishingCo
