Andrew would nail the emotions of having the symbiote with all the pain he dealt with in the past his spiderman will thrive and his fight with venom would make the most sense out of all the other spidermen

Man the movie would've been dark and he would be damn angry and enraged after what happened. After Gwen's death, in an alternate scene, he beats Goblin nearly to death, think what angry monster he would've become and if written well the movie would've been the best live action adaptation. All ruined because of Studio interference.

Oh my Goodness. The way he swung that manhole around deflecting missiles was amazing.
Considering the final movie, I'd say the trailer gave away too much. Harry's tranformation would have been a surprise, that subway that pops out of the ground could have been an imp left turn in the plot, and the scene with Doc Ock's arms could have been revealed straightaway in the movie. Most notably, Rhino should NOT have been this hyped in the trailer. He could have just been a stow-away character like in the movie, as he had the same number of scenes in the movie, as he has shots in this trailer.
To be honest with you the whole fact his parents where in the plot to begin with was never needed at all it doesn't really change much
And the pure reason he becomes spiderman to begin with was to get revenge for uncle Ben's death then he just forgets about that later on

The Amazing-Spiderman 2 is probably the most underrated Spideymovie and doesn't deserve all the shit it's getting. Sure it has its ups and downs, but it's in my opinion a good movie.
Andrew Garfield did an amazing job as a realistic and witty Peter Parker and I wouldn't have changed him for anything. I think he portrayed a 19 year old with parents issues and loneliness perfectly and he really gave me a New-York feeling with his voice and acting. Andrew portrayed a more witty and wise cracking Spider-Man, which I missed in the Raimi-movies.
Emma Stone, as Gwen Stacy, did a fantastic job as well and the chemistry between Andrew and her was incredible. You could really see how much they liked eachother on screen. The dialogues felt real and not forced. One of the best romances I've seen, at least in superhero-movies.
Over to Jamie Fox as Max Dillon or Electro. This one was one of my favorite characters. It was a fresh breeze to see the celebrity star Jamie Fox take on this geeky and sad character, when he's usually so macho and cool in most movies.
So many scenes with Max Dillon made me laugh, but I also felt bad for him, because he was such a seemingly good person and everyone treated him like a ghost. He just wanted to be seen and I as a viewer could feel that.
Dane DeHaan, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors, played the role of Harry Osborn, a boy with extreme daddy issues and a seemingly uncureable illness and boy does Dane DeHaan deliver.
During the whole movie you can see that Harry Osborn is full of anxiety and stress and it is built up perfectly for the end when he becomes the Green Goblin. I just loved this character. Dane DeHaan is very skilled with dark and disturbing characters and I hope to see more of him!
I personally loved the music in this movie. It was a big step up from TASM 1. Let's just say that Hans Zimmer can do no wrong! The Magnificent Six did a great job composing. + All the other artists that appeared in this film.
Now, where did this movie fall?
Too much and too unbalanced is something I've heard from many people and something I agree with partially. The film has so many plot lines, it sort of overwhelms you and it has one too many villains.
This movie's original ending was supposed to be dark, but money horny Sony, changed the ending into a more happy ending with yet another unnecessary villain.
From what I heard Sony changed ALOT of things with the original script and cut, which probably ruined the movie in many aspects.
I really do blame Sony for this movie's lack of succes.
If they'd let Marc Webb do his thing, this movie would probably been more original and a lot less of a mess.
In all it's ups and downs I still think this is a good movie and I really enjoyed it.
It's a shame there wont be a The Amazing Spider-Man 3, since this movie pretty much built up plenty for a third film.

This suit is probably my least favorite. TASM 1 suit is definitely my all time favorite. But in terms of style. Not counting what has been editors on a computer and what hasn’t. the far from home suit looks the best.. and the Tom Holland suits aren’t CGI. Tom still wears the suit. It’s just that they edit it so much in post. Like the eyes. And removing wrinkles and such. But it is still a very real suit.

They made a real mistake showing the Rhino in the trailer. If nobody had known he was in the film it would've been a nice little surprise to cap off the movie. After seeing this however, everyone was expecting a lot more yet this is pretty much the entire scene including the final shot of the whole movie.

I see Peter Parker more as a troubled character, trying to balance his secret identity and normal life, almost constantly worrying that people close to him might get hurt if word gets out.
Then again, I haven't seen Amazing Spider-Man 1, so I don't really know if my view is in line with what they have been going for in the new movies.
EdwardBerner Amazing Spider Man was OK, and he was shown as a bit more confident than Tobey Maguire's version. But the film was MAYBE Spider-Man 3, and definitely not as good as the other two. Honestly, this trailer did NOTHING for me.

Peter moved on from Gwen TOO QUICKLY in the end of the movie... they should have left this movie hanging with him grieving her death! That was NOT something that a 5 minute grieving scene was going to do justice! LOVED this movie but HATED the ending. I cried longer than Peter did when Gwen died.
It shows Peter Parker standing in front of Gwen's Grave in 3 different seasons of the year, and just stops being Spider-Man for MONTHS. How is that 5 minutes of grieving..?

Frankie Pie rhino's part at the end was ok to me, its a sign of his next appearance in the second sequel. my biggest disappointment was why was harry osborne cast as the first green goblin? in the comics, as far as i remember, norman osborne never died of any disease. correct me if i am wrong.

Just watched the movie tonight. After reading reviews, I see people have mixed opinions. I personally... LOVED it. I'm a huge Marvel fan, and this is another good addition to the collection. How we get to know Peter's past and the truth about his parents, the new Harry actor who did an amazing job, Electro and everything around him, and something that really touched me - Gwen's speech. I thought it sucked that they got new actors and everything when The Amazing Spider man came out. But now I love the new actors morr and more, even though the actors and story in Spider Man 1-3 are awesome as well. Really looking forward to the Amazing Spider Man 3! :)

i almost cryed at the epicness at the end.
Absolutely loved this film! This is a step up from the first I feel! Had it's exciting parts, it's funny parts and of course it's sad parts. It also had a twist which I never saw coming!

If you have seen the cartoon series of Spider man, from around the 90's, then you would know every single detail of the upcomming movies of Spider Man. - I'm jeally that you haven't, I knew how all of the movies would start, where the excitement would come, and how they would end, before they was mentioned in the televisions. Sometimes... You regret watching it from the beginning of time because, later the makers of the series etc will make a movie out of it, which you already know everything about. But hey, the graphics are way better now than back then :)
