I feel Iron Fist is a story about challenging social norms- a boy who is basically Bruce Wayne is elevated through eastern morales and struggles against the oppressive elements of a capitalist society. It also challenges the stereotype that anyone that relates to martial arts, Buddhism, and dragons has to be of Asian descent. Erik, I implore you to see the positives in these characters instead of perceived negatives of a vocal few.
I must say…that the potential exists to have Danny Rand done *correctly*, to where he is actually able to apply his considerable resources to dedication for human concern, primarily because of Asian philosophies that were imbued upon him. It’s not as much about him being a “better fighter” than Esstern counterparts…and Shang Chi exists now, so he definitely wouldn’t be that anyways. Plus…that’d create a great dynamic tension between the two of them as friendly rivals.

They could do a Heroes for Hire episode, an Agents of Shield reboot ep, we could see characters that won't get there on project but could get a little one episode showcase. Throw shit at the walls and whatever sticks gets expanded on. (TLDR: A Live action anthology like "What IF" but in continuity, no alternate reality stuff)

Gangs of Madripoor would be awesome. It could work in the Ten Rings organization, peripheral X-Men characters from Asia like Silver Samurai, Kareem and Kamran from Ms. Marvel and Kamar-Taj. Open the show with Madisynn stumbling out of a nightclub in Madripoor right before it magically implodes, which is the inciting incident of a gang war with a mystic/dimensional angle.
Iron Fist is the only person who knows where Kundlun city is, in the marvel comics world, that is a main location in marvel comics that we need to see in upcoming movies like the Savage Land and Genosha and other places like Doom Castle
Agents of the TVA please god yes, but only if they take the Agents of SHIELD out of their diverted timeline and have them as the main cast. And 20 episode seasons each year! It doesn't need to be crazy high budget, just keep it the same level as Agents of SHIELD. It could be a Legends of Tomorrow type show but feature them stopping villains from ruining the timeline
I think the best way to do a midnight sun's tv show would be to have it take place in the distant past--the forming of the first iteration of the team. That way you can keep the budget down by not including the high priced actors slated to play characters we'd expect to see on a modern day team. The midnight sun's could've been operating behind the scenes this whole time on supernatural issues, and they can have one member be an immortal who can cross over with/help form the modern day team for a midnight sun's movie after the Blade movie. The Blade movie can end with him stumbling upon an ancient evil that he can't handle by himself and he loses to it, but his life is saved by that surviving member of the sun's. Then they work together to form the new team to combat the threat.
It would be fun to see The Breakroom having one of those notable scoopers. Like MTTSH, Daniel RPK etc. Make them use mask and perhaps use vocoder or something like that 😂
I am so glad Marvel has pivoted to a more traditional working method for tv. They have a serious writing problem at the moment and I feel like they know this are trying to change course.
The narrative tool of the action packed opening showing a new character during an established event in marvel history from the original phase is something that will never get old to me. Hawkeye did it super well.
I think the best way for the MCU going forward is making more assemble movies and series and stop adding too much new characters that are going to nowhere or the follow up will be so long that people will forget him.

Saying Jessica Jones got away with from what was so good which was Kilgrave is so telling of your interest and context because season three showing us that this entire time we were actually watching the villain arc of her best friend was peak fucking television for me. You guys have to start looking at the demographics of what satisfies you and accepting the fact that it is very much specific and very specific to a certain thing. Was amazing but it ran its course. We didn’t need a whole series about that and it would’ve been nonsense to have had a whole series about that.

Midnight Sons would be really cool but I think the budget/logistics concerns are valid. I say make it animated! Go the DC studios route where the animated and live action flow back and forth smoothly
I don't know if that would work for the MCU. I don't know what proportion of movie viewers watch all their animation too, but imagine it's even lower than the proportion that watch the live-action series. I watch it all, but I don't think most people do, so it would lead to lots of confusion and even more 'homework' accusations.

After secret wars comes out, i think it would be best if marvel studios takes a five year hiatus from making marvel movies as a way to cool off and it would let them take the time to effectively plan-out without the rush in what direction they want to take the next saga for the mcu

Gen V was able to have a character that shrank and grew on their series and they didn't have Disney money. Not to mention Marvel's gonna have Ironheart with a suit. And if you are going to exclude Cassie because Quantumania didn't do well than the same should apply to Kamala Khan because the Marvels was the biggest Marvel bomb ever. But unlike Ms. Marvel, Cassie Lang is an ACTUAL classic Young Avenger. And without her who is their muscle?
Saying Jessica Jones got away with from what was so good which was Kilgrave is so telling of your interest and context because season three showing us that this entire time we were actually watching the villain arc of her best friend was peak fucking television for me. You guys have to start looking at the demographics of what satisfies you and accepting the fact that it is very much specific and very specific to a certain thing. Was amazing but it ran its course. We didn’t need a whole series about that and it would’ve been nonsense to have had a whole series about that.

Midnight Sons would be really cool but I think the budget/logistics concerns are valid. I say make it animated! Go the DC studios route where the animated and live action flow back and forth smoothly
I don't know if that would work for the MCU. I don't know what proportion of movie viewers watch all their animation too, but imagine it's even lower than the proportion that watch the live-action series. I watch it all, but I don't think most people do, so it would lead to lots of confusion and even more 'homework' accusations.
No, it needs to be live-action, fully integrated, and primarily set in the MCU-present.
