That engine should Not be kicked down OR taken higher than 4500 RPM for 1,500Km. (1,000 Miles) This IS THE FACTORY BREAKIN SPECIFIED BY AMG for all hand built engines, not to mention the differential gear set. The warning sticker is in the Top Left of the Windshield on every AMG. You obviously did not read it. It must be done that way. Why would a Dealership that is authorized to sell AMG's let that happen? "You" have an excuse, they don't. Assume they sell that vehicle to someone and something internal breaks. They will pull the car's "black box" and know that engine was abused while it was new. The window stickers are still on that car FFS. Nice review by the way. Just learn to read the warning stickers on new vehicles.
I just took delivery of an AMG GLS 63 that I bought for my girlfriend and didn’t read that sticker until I had a few days of running the car hard. The dealership never mentioned it to me and the car came with three windshield stickers one for your Lounge account setup, one for your Me account setup and the smallest font one mentions your break in period. I just assumed it was another account setup sticker until I finally read it.
Those are everywhere in southern California. There are 3 neighbors on my street that have them here in Newport Beach, CA. and every other person is driving one in Los Angeles because it's a tax write-off.
@@pablomalaga4676 You can upgrade a G500 to look like these. So most of them are fake. The real 4x4 squared is over $350000. The fake ones are 1/3 the price.
the 4x4 squared is a wonderful vehicle - sad that Mercedes should add all the bling to sell that machine to Beverly Hills types who will use the machine to pick children from school. why can' they make a no-frills version, for use by serious off-road and overland enthusiasts? beats me.
Schöckl is a mountain in Graz (Austria), not in Germany. You pronounced it wrong. It's called Schöööckl not Schockl. The same thing with Öhlins. It isn't pronounced as Ohlins. It's ÖÖÖÖhlins. I don't say you've done it but everytime I hear Americans pronounce it like this. It's easy. It's not that hard. Try it. If German, Austrian etc. people know how to talk in English, you can do it. By the way, never ever rev a new car this high,... Especially a Mercedes. You gotta be careful with the engine as long as it doesn't reach 1000 kilometers,...
Special thanks to our Patreons for their support of the channel! Is the 4x4 Squared worth the premium?
OH MY GOD MATT: your channel and AMG have gone GOD TIER..!!
Pick me up and drive me around!!
RIGHT NOW!!
How did you get to review this..?
Is this going to a GB Packers player..?
@@gkstanfield just lucky I guess 🤷♂️ lol I think Jordan love needs a new ride 👀
Next, we’ll see you doing the Hillclimb @ Goodwood doing a review of a 250GTO..!
I’m proud of you..!! GET IT!!
One of the best off road vehicles in the world. Would love to see it with smaller rims and much more rubber on the tires though.
Just shared on FB globally; I wish you EVERY SUCCESS!!
Thanks Grant!
That's a unicorn allright, thanks for reviewing it!
🙏
have they addressed the rear axle differential housing issue already on this unit?
So, did they come up with a Fix for the Roof LED Light Bars??
I bet those lights are wired it’s probably missing the fuse to make them work.

Very well said, and good point
This must be the silliest thing I've seen in a while, where can I get one?
there's also one that's convertible
what does the ² in 4x4² mean? i still cannot wrap my head around it
Who cares about fuel economy nothing else out there has the Cool factor like the 4X4 squared. 👍👍👍
Nobody call those raptor lights😂
I’m assuming the 2024 Infotainment system on the standard G-Wagon is touch screen but I’m shocked that the 2022 G-Wagon 4x4 squared isn’t touch screen
AMAZING!!
Keep bringing it Matt!!
Schockl is in Austria where G Wagon is built, Not Germany.
Awesome
😎
I've seen white one 40 minutes ago. But, hey, I'm on the other side of the ocean, not that extremely rare, but rare.
Where are you?
@@dwnshftsomewhere the wealthy live. Definitely not where your depressing city is

How come if only 500 we're built?
@@pablomalaga4676gotta be more because they claimed the 4x4 g550 only 300 were made but they are all over the road

Because AMG doesn’t do “no frills”.
