- Iranian state television reported Sunday (May 19) that rescuers are trying to reach a helicopter involved in an "incident" while travelling with an entourage including President Ebrahim Raisi.
Raisi was reportedly travelling in Iran's East Azerbaijan province but the state media didn't share details of what exactly happened to the helicopter. Watch in for more details!
Iran's semi-official Fars news agency urged the Iranians to pray for Raisi. Video released by state TV showed worshippers praying for the president’s health in the city of Mashhad. Watch in for more details!
