  • Thinking about living in the Philippines? In this video, I share my experience of living in the Philippines for 8 years and the things nobody told me before moving here. From the cost of living to cultural differences, I'll give you an honest look at what it's like to call the Philippines home.
If you have any follow-up questions, do feel free to leave them in the comments and I’ll get back to you and quite possibly make that into a separate video

BEEN LIVING HERE, RETIRED, SINCE AUGUST 2021. AM FROM THE "SOCIALIST STATE OF CALIFORNIA." I LIKE TO SAY : "THE WORST DAY IN THE PHILIPPINES, IS BETTER THAN THE BEST DAY IN THE STATES." EVERY MORNING 🌅 ON MY PORCH I SAY: "THANG GOD WE GOT OUT WHEN WE DID." A HAPPY 😁 EXPAT TRANS-FILIPINO.

I agree and I’m glad you’re loving it here.
I do keep up to date with some of the stuff going on the States so I know exactly what you’re talking about. I hope you have a splendid retirement in the Philippines! Thanks for watching!

My sister expected me to go to the US after I graduated from nursing, but she was disappointed when I told her that living in the US is like living in a jungle, with all the entitlement and Karens present. 😄😄

lol I totally get it 😂
I have always said living in the States is overrated in my opinion, for me the values and culture here in the Philippines are a lot easier to navigate and then the chances that your own kids will turn on you are a lot less 😅
