- Above All Else, Be Kind is about the importance of valuing caring, kindness and compassion. The video was made during the week I had to self-isolate in my room with symptoms of Coronavirus. It features friends, fans, family and colleagues from both the medical and music worlds I work in, holding up a line from the song. Alongside a host of musicians whose music I love, it features doctors, nurses, physios and paramedics working across the UK and beyond. Even though we can’t be in the same place at the same time, I want it to be a show of solidarity.
I wrote this song in 2016; the day that Trump won the US election, with the feeling that the world had just taken a step in a dark and unnerving direction. It compounded a growing feeling that we only seem to be aware of our own individual circumstances; increasingly intolerant and suspicious of others; too busy to engage with people around us and unwilling to recognise that they might be struggling.
It feels like the song has particular relevance in this strange moment where, as a planet, we’re faced with something that threatens the lives of millions of people if we don’t act together.

How does this beautiful song with this impactful video have so little views? Breaks my heart...
I just told my son: In a world where you can be anything you want, be kind.
That made me remember the song I first heard at a very small concert. When I asked Ajimal on what record that song was, he said that it wasn‘t released yet. So every once in a while, I searched for this song on Spotify or TH-cam and finally, here it is! Released on the day exactly two years after the concert! ❤️

Sorry I could t but this .. perhaps a medical journey song could work if it didn’t come in these times or with an expectation of appreciation which failed to illicit beyond the familial creators circle. The albums should focus on the singer, but they need a louder theme.
Sounds like he needs a sip of water . His voice is beautiful but it sounds like he smoked a fat joint and has pasties in his mouth . The clicking of his tongue is distracting . Everything else is amazing .
