As a jg main Udyr actually made the right choice by ganking top He will get far more than Viego will from not only his camps but from soaking xp during ganks due to comeback xp.This is why, despite being down 5 camps and 2 levels, Udyr was able to equal the Viego's by taking just 2 camps. Furthermore, comeback mechanics allow junglers who are 1.5 levels or more behind to get 100% xp from creeps in lane whereas the higher level jg gets a penalty. In this case, Udyr was able to soak enough xp while going bot to actually surpass the Viego's experience.
