- Quick little last minute soft plastic session out off Mackay, QLD with my mate Lionel while the kids were at school, left the ramp at 11am and was back in by 2pm so didn't have a lot of time to film. Spewin I didn't have the camera rolling right off the bat because on the first drift I got a nice diamond trevally which was by far the highlight for me..
This was the first trip for my new little combo which is a pe1 Oceans Legacy Cloud 9, a 3000 Stella FJ with pe1.2 Sunline Castaway and 30lb Oceans Legacy Shock Leader. Ive been testing out some new jigheads lately which you'll no doubt hear more about in the coming months, so I matched them up with the 3.5" Molix RT Shad and Live Target Slow Roll Shiner.
We got a decent little bag of fish with 3 trevally species, a decent sized grunter and a few small mouth nannygai.
