That tends to happen when your leader is immortal, but now I’m wondering, as a non-CK3 player, what causes the mongol collapse? I always figured it had something to do with Genghis’ death, but is it revolt strength or something?

I just did a playthrough as Bohemia, united the slavs, and waited for Genghis Khan. He was annihilated and all his sons murdered by the warring Chinese kingdoms.
Probably the most accurate AI Mongol Empires I've seen. Not that it's perfect ofc. They did a bit better in this timeline.
