It’s great to see you play DOA5LR again! I have to say as I designed Rig’s Halloween 2017 costume, that these were great in 5U through LR because almost everyone got something, except poor Mai. I felt like my work, along with many other designers works, were wasted on the not even half hearted attempt DOA6 tried. They should have picked one costume for EVERYONE (maybe excluding Kula and Mai) but they only chose 6 half of which went to who I call triple trash (Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO) due to bias. Was there not good designs for everyone? It was bad enough having the worst Story Mode in the whole genre, rebuying old DLC sometimes included in SPs, plus the SPs in general, but to waste good designs for no reason other than laziness? DOA5LR will always be superior to the dumpster fire DOA6. Sorry for long comment!!
DOA5 is much much better than 6 no doubt but I feel everyone is exaggerating about how bad it is, still agree with most points here, there was a ton of good designs and they still chose sex suit bass/boring Simple mila(atleast it’s cool)/a good phase design but that should be some 2p, not a dlc/ like you said the child trio nobody asked for - speaking of that should being a 2p phase literally has 2 costumes plus DLC, in doa5 she had very little too which wasn’t okay but it was twice as many as 6 lol
By the way nice design! Me and my friend we’re actually talking about it recently, he thought it was made to be fan service and I said it was meant to be T-bag memer vibes or something lmao I’m curious which one is closer to being right?
I modeled the costume after John Cena’s early look. I actually turned it in for 2016 as well. It was the costume I thought had the least chance of getting in. I turned in 57 hand drawn designs.
