Dolceacqua, where Claude Monet painted one of his famous canvas, very much worth visiting and enjoying the beauties of the regions, their food and wines.

    Hello Fred,
WOW, WOW, WOW, what a great video! The animations with Mr. Frog are excellent. We knew that you can achieve a lot with BLENDER, but I (Uwe) have never seen these animations in this form. There's definitely a lot of work involved. I once tried to work with BLENDER but it was too difficult and too time consuming. You did a very good job here - congratulations!
Very interesting video about Claude Monet. Who doesn't know him, but where he has been is beyond our knowledge. We also (unfortunately) know far too little about his artistic work, but we learned a lot from your video.
We also liked how you showed the geographic location of the place so we didn't have to look far! The animation of the subsequent route through the mountains was also very successful and there in the Osteria au Casun the food tastes even better if you can enjoy this beautiful view.
This was a great and very informative video. We don't want to know how long you've been working on this... please keep it up!
All the best and stay healthy, _Uwe and Stefan_

      Hello Uwe, Stefan,
Well, I thank you very much for these very nice comments and feedback, it means a lot to me and I intend to keep on working on such animations.
You are right, it takes a lot of time to prepare the model, the background, lights, shadows, animations, then finally rendering the sequence out. I was busy with some issues around the house so could work "only" a few hours here and there, but overall many days were dedicated to these two simple animations.
The place - Dolceacqua - was indeed something new to us, we visited it during our vacation to Italy September 2021. In the mountains we didn't venture into the hills mainly because the area is full of wild boars and these animals can be huge and very aggressive (they are also good cooked in a stew with polenta).
Thanks again for your positive return, I am starting with the next project, trying out different animations.
Take care, keep safe and healthy and I send you my best regards, Fred

@@FredAubert Yes, we like the wild boar better than roast on the plate, but not on the go.
