Check out the History of PRS book. PRS' first guitars were Les Paul and Les Paul DC copies. His first carved top guitars of his own design were of Les Paul DC inspiration. His more strat like guitars are just modified on that - this guitar is halfway between the Les Paul DC and a PRS Custom 24 in body design.
The model isn't in production anymore but I believe it was called the Les Paul DC. I still don't know how this version of blue hasn't found its way into an anime.
+James Rockford "this guy" is considered to be one of the greatest guitarists ,composers, producers, singers and songwriters to come out of Japan; he was even voted to be the best a few years back. He's won Grammy's and has several signature Yamaha and Gibson guitars. If you don't like his music that's fine, but don't try and hate on a clearly talented man out of jealousy, not cool.
Ben Levin Milli Vanilli won a grammy Dave Trohl has a signature Gibson So what's your point? It makes no difference^ he still bends sharp and flat here...
+James Rockford just because you might not their music it doesn't take away from there sheer talent and musicianship does it? Do you even play guitar? Have you not heard of micro tonal bends or are you just hating out of pure spite?
+James Rockford I agree James, I can't say I'm impressed with his playing either. I didn't know who he was except I saw the Gibson he uses so looked him up. Frankly the only reason I could see Gibson doing a signature in his name is to sell more Gibsons in Japan which probably worked. There's thousands of guys who can play this crap and if I want to hear an excellent and unique version, I can listen to someone like Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top doing Blue Jean. Why drive a Honda Civic when you can have a Ferrari or McLaren?
He is my favorite guitarist.
Absolutely beautiful. This video goes to show how incredibly versatile he is.
🙏❤️🕊️
im glad this video is back
綺麗な、松本さん、美しい音❤😂
To this day every time I hear this, it gives me goosebumps how smooth and flowing Tak's playing is. I stand and salute Mr. Matsumoto ❤🤘
Excellent, Amazing, Master!!. (Hèctor Julio Sanchez Inda, Musician from Buenos Aires, Argentina).
That stage looks very familiar to those who've seen video of Yngwie Mamsteen with Japan Philharmonics..
Epiphone have released their version complete with original Gibson pickups. As the high end Epi's are really rather good this should be one to get.
Its his own Gibson signature series .. a Les Paul with a double cutaway.
So peculiar but sounds great!
Jeez 😲 #Whatafeelin

jgodin312 And it's the only one to have that body shape. I'm still saving for one.
The guitar looks more like a Baker B1
