    Thank you and thank you again, for the head hat circumference measurements! I was always nervous if the hat will fit. If not, I would undo the whole hat. So, down the drain goes my 3-4 hours of work, and dont want to talk about my insecurity (Im the new one at this :)
    With this measurement calculation, you opened up the new world to me. Thank you a million!
    And I mean it.

    Hi Clare, thank you for making these wonderful tutorials. I'm a visual learner and you make it very easy to follow. Since the Thick Mesh Stitch is a diagonal stitch, I had to make a few adjustments to get it to work, but here's the link to the tutorial th-cam.com/video/zx0Yf69vjbU/w-d-xo.html

    When you start the crown of the hat - I'm reading your written pattern- do you work in the space between each stitch? Or like, right on top of the stitch in the previous row. If that makes any sense at all.

    • @CrochetwithClare
      @CrochetwithClare  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I am working the hay and currently on the third color but my hat is not curving into a hat shape it's kind of flat with a bit of a ruffle on the end. Is this normal? I'm beginning to think I missed a step or something but I'm following your video closely... will to make the hat shape at the end?

    I have to say how sad I am with this video. your such a great teacher and ive never had a problem following your work till I wanted to try this hat. the grey is such a hard color to see on the video and then the light grey color you didn't even do 3 rows so we could understand and see the rows better. you just left us on our own I'm so frustrated that I cant see the brick pattern or how the stiches should look.
    make another video using brighter colors so we can see where the stiches should go.
    please.

    When going from the crown to the first row, instead of doing a chain 3+1 could I do a chain 2+1 so I could work this in half double crochet?

      Im sorry to hear that you cannot view the video. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to. I have just played it and it's working fine on my end. I will try linking the video for you again here and see if perhaps that helps at all.

    I made the crown 6 rows wide. This is for the adult size. How many rows of the brick stitch did you do?
    Thank you so much!

    I'm sorry but your link to finding out how to do the top part of the beanie is lacking. I can not access it and so this tutorial is not helpful at all. Really disappointed to have to go look for a new pattern as this is the perfect young man's beanie.
